Based in Chelsea, Quebec and Canada's capital city Ottawa, St. Stephen's has sweet guitar licks, soaring harmonies and finely crafted songs. Influences range from Buffalo Springfield-era sixties folk-rock to 70's rock n' roll with Britpop undertones.  They have 2 drummers and multiple singers-songwriters.

Depth of Field is an offshoot of the Ottawa-based band Tilda. Michael Peterson and Andrew Long, separated by 400KM, wanted to continue to create music while living in different cities. Andrew had enjoyed creating loop-based music many years before and Michael was eager to try the medium. Very soon after they found their songs in use by the Canadian Film Institute for their festival trailers. 

We like to play acoustic music in the woods, over looking a ravine near the Gatineau River. Music, nature, good times.
