This is the closing track of my 2017 RPM Challenge album. Based on Pulsar B1642-03 which has a period of 0.387688791 seconds which I've calculated to be 155 bpm. This is the 14th and final pulsar on the Pioneer map.

Once You Know Where You Are, You Can Find The Way Home (B1642-03)

First performed by Onyx Brass in a workshop at Guild Hall school of Music & Drama, this piece is a lively tango exploring dramatic cross rhythms. Each instrumentalist has its turn with the melody call apart from the tuba who’s ostinato keeps the traditional tango baseline throughout.
