Christmas 2021 in NOLA. Where else to go when the pariah spirit haunts? Ancestral "trekmage" to Kaplan, Louisiana—Theriot homeland in the Cajun Coast—pushed the resonance to 11, especially with Carlo St Regis at the wheel and Abbey Road in the stereo field.

SE-3X Paraphonic triplet LFO figure (with it's Combo organ groove and gravitas) layered, rinsed and repeated with Enigma curation and coloration, gets reeducated, subbed and rubbed by cagey '3X baselines (which either Monte Neuble or I played at some point), and '70s era, St. Regis/Sam Francisco, Yamaha C7 heirloom piano chordal infiltrations (a dental procedure term as is so happens, when an Inferior Alveolar—a branch of the mandibular nerve—block is too problematic).

Looks like a strong showing for the parenthetical in this liner.

Musique Concrète Influencers generally associated with the visuals made their presence felt, per ushz; because as Dre was reported to us as saying about his Omega 8, "There's his in there." Beauty and power too.

A red balloon makes its way through the September skies towards the infinite, across the oceans of water and time, through the distances of geography, dancing its dance over the clouds and painting a rainbow in the gray skies of autumn.

Tutorial

Having fun layering an assortment of patches I dialled into my 2004 Studio Electronics Omega 8..  

I have always liked the array of multi-mode filters this synth has to offer - it adds a great deal more sonic potential to an often overlooked and very capable analog beast.

NB:  Although it might sound like it, no phasers were used in this recording.. what you are hearing is copious use of the superb band-pass and high-pass filters in the Omega 8 being modulated by the LFOs.
