Following the high-energy peak-time pulse of the *Night Edition, Serialism Records continues its 18 years celebration with Before Everything Else Vol.6. The Morning Edition, the second half of a double compilation that captures the label’s full emotional and sonic spectrum.

The Morning Edition (Part 2) dives into more stripped-back, minimal, Breakbeats and after-hours terrain, crafted for those intimate sunrise sets and hypnotic deep-space dancefloors.

This volume reflects the label’s soulful, heady, and more introspective identity. If the Night Edition was built for clubs and peak-time pressure, the Morning is for open-air rooftops, early morning tunnels, and sun-kissed gatherings where sound takes on a dreamlike quality.

This second half features a powerful lineup of underground artists, both veterans and rising voices, each shaping a unique moment of this sonic journey.

Deep Dive alumni Moreon joins us for Deep Dive Radio Episode 008.  The Venezuelan-born, Barcelona-based vinilo pizzaiolo has spent over twenty years curating music and events throughout the world with an ongoing love for vinyl. Erwin is a Berlin-based producer and DJ, formerly known as Florian Rietze. His music moves between hypnotic grooves and subtle atmospheres. Sometimes driving, sometimes introspective, always with a keen sense for tension and depth. With Arepas Records, he now launches his own label, kicking things off with the debut release Arepas 001, a statement for carefully crafted and detail-driven electronic music.

To mark the start, Erwin visited our pressing plant at MATTER OF FACT, where he sat down with our head of operations, Andre Kronert, to talk about his motivation for starting a label, his love for vinyl as a physical medium, and his vision of making Arepas a platform for artistic freedom and curated sound. We’ll celebrate this new chapter together on October 8th with the official Label Launch Party at Elevate, Cinthie’s record store in the heart of Berlin-Friedrichshain, where music, community, and the idea behind Arepas Records truly come to life.
