HRDF: How did you discover the original track?
Kubebe: First time i discovered Art of Noise was on a cool popular compilation of synthesis music my father was listening when i was a kid. I was crazy with Moments of love, their most famous and so brilliant song, later I went through their discography and found this track, Legs, very special.

HRDF: Why did you choose to edit it ?
K: Vocal parts are really trippy, the song is really going in every senses what i like but i was thinking will be cool to make it more direct and a little bit slower, find arrangements with my FM keys to join every parts

HRDF: What is your relationship with the art of edit ?
K: It's my first edit actually, usually I write my own songs but i really like doing remixes, arranging, keeping the deep essence but bringing the track somewhere else, in function of your mood at the time.

HRDF: What are your expectations for the future ? What are you working on ? What do you dream to do as an artist ? 
K: I’m working on future solo EPs, one is more about slow disco with dub effects, the other is faster with proto house accents, few collaborations with nice and creative guys on the way. im also working a live show, with electronic and acoustic instruments, my first gig is in August

Early works of psychotic surge in collaboration with * From Hawai'i. This work is heavily based in translating the concrete poetry of the @bombooksurge (Instagram) to the sonic realm. There is the intrusion of a tarot reading in most if not all of the tracks, take it as you may. Their meaning is up for interpretation. 

As an early-experiment in anti-music with a studied musician, the poetry structure that refuses to fit the recognizable musical constructions is responsible for that feeling of awkwardness while still following a non-metric, non-rhymed flow of actualization.

Faze Action return with a brand new 12", teaming up with Zimbabwean born Zeke Manyika to create "Mangwana". Sung in Zeke's native Shona, and taking influences from Mory Kante, South African Kwaito to early house, Faze Action manage to create a record that harks back yet still has a modern and contemporary feel and is set to be the soundtrack to countless festivals and outdoor parties this summer.

The title track is followed by the stunning "Chiiko", featuring Zeke's vocals enriched by Rob's 'cello's with African rhythms floating you away to another tropical world. A Vision of Panorama turns up the dial with a stunning mix on the flip side. A new bass line adds to some quality keyboard work. Finally the brothers deliver are more stripped out dub "Paradise '89 Mix" tailored for the peak time.

Reymour packed their bags in the pre-Alps of Switzerland and left to start a new life in Bruxelles. This debut album finds originates in this transition, again in a bilingual environment, by now a Knekelhuis theme. Leviosa documents the emergence of a kind of dance built from chansons, synthpop and cute minimal wave. Luc Bersier’s wide musical spectrum reaches great heights while staying small. He creates the musical bedrock on which Reymour’s cabinet of musical curiosities rests, allowing us to drift away on the unctuous fumes of Lou’s vocals. On these tracks she covers a wide array of feelings, of doubt, sexual orientation, play and melancholia. And it all comes together in the reflection of life. Close friend and family guy Low Bat contributes vocals and gameplay on 2 of the album’s tracks.
