Before The Storm

Again, written and lead singing by Randy Arnold, who was our group leader.  Morry rips a nice lead at 3:10  

Old tracks from late 90s band Morry and I were members of - Ten Months Later. Morry played lead guitar and I played rhythm guitar and sang back up vocs. The main singer is our friend Randy Arnold who wrote this song. Other bandmates: Yandell Wood (Drums) and Matt Garlove (Bass), along with Peter Searcy (Cello), Steve Cooley (Mandolin/Banjo)... I'm having trouble remembering a couple others who sat in and helped with recording some other individual instruments on these songs. Recorded mainly in Matt's basement. Sadie Hawkins Dance was the name of the album.

Tempered and Watered (Calmed and Nurtured)

The Sogdians were traders on the Silk Road. They were famed for their welcome.  A small group of their descendants remain, living in a far off valley. 
Maybe still a work in progress, I recorded this little tune on ‘SaySo’ my Les Paul as an antidote for all the modulation and delay obsessions. I’m still messing with the production so may repost it one day. I can never seem to get tracks working well on different kinds of speakers so I hope this sounds good for you.

Remembering who I was

We are two old friends from KY. Posting songs we recorded many years ago on Tascam cassette recorders...and starting to get together to write and record again on a Tasccam DP24 when our dad schedules allow...hopefully we'll have some new ones to post soon.
