Uplifting Vibes 03

I'm just a small-town Canadian boy who loves music.

I started listening to electronic back in 2000 after my brother lent me some CDs for the summer from Sasha & Digweed, Moby, and Orbital. I got into the dance scene shortly after and found a strong connection to trance with DJs like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Ferry Corsten, while making some incredible friendships along the way. 

My first attempts at any kind of mixing were late-night vinyl sessions with my roommate listening to some classic trance and house and eventually putting together a simple set-up on my Mac to make some mixes for my commute. I’ve always liked the idea of being able to create a sort of soundtrack to my day-to-day and admire my friends who’ve made a career out of it as they bring such a positive impact to the lives of so many. 

I’ve spent the better part of my adult life abroad - first in China and now in Italy - and music has always been something that keeps me grounded and focused.

Explorer & Adventure Seeker ... Lover of EDM and all things Rave. 

I think music is spiritual, therefore that you can feel it  because people pour their hearts and souls in their work. I'm coming back I just need more time.

About Jozsef Wittek | DJ Fokus

One of the pioneer DJ's of Seoul South Korea's club scene from 1996 - 1998  he drove the Techno and Underground music and clubbing scene while headlined the first raves in Itaewon, Seoul and held weekly residencies at famous clubs Sangsudo, The Dam, Liza X, NbinB, Hollywood, Space and others. His contribution to building the music scene culminating in headlining the first Asian Music Expo/Festival in 2001 in Pusan then in 2017, his 20th anniversary event in one of Seoul's hottest clubs 'Globe Lounge' in Itaewon... located just behind 'The Dam', where he started it all!

Moving to Tokyo in 1998 he setup a small studio where he created several remixes as well as well as original tracks while continually evolving his Deep Electro House style at regular residencies with Candyboxx, Wet, Bump, Club Asia, Shibuya FM Radio, In the Mood, as well as Ray-Ban events and 'And the Beat' events at Yokohama And the Friet.
