I so miss Tetsu. I wonder what happened to him? One of my favorite ambient artists.

The record label has fallen silent for half a decade now. (5 years) but at least they both have left us with some amazingly beautiful crafted pieces of music and albums to explore in different colored genres.

What a fantastic mix! So sad that there will be no more Namlook/Inoue... But at least we have the music they left us :)

Next up in our mix series is Harold, a true cornerstone in the Naarm community, who has now relocated to Amsterdam. Harold is known for their unique warm aura and incredible array of outputs - from DJ’ing, to hosting parties, to running the iconic record label Steeplejack, alongside the radio show and sub label Faultlines.

For this mix, Harold takes us on a two hour deeply emotionally loaded journey, blending glitchy rhythms, sentimental idm and ardent sound scapes, with a psychedelic and outer-worldly thread through it all.

"Opening the new season of Terre Rare, upsammy conjures shifting, iridescent terrains here synthetic flora moves with prismatic motion.
A delicate balance of warmth and alien detachment, her echoing expanse oscillates between chiseled clarity and fluid disorder.
Alongside her, Pietro Agostoni reinterprets the concept of the Stagno drawing session, transforming it into a perceptual flow where gestures layer, deform, and recombine through a visual language in constant mutation. 

Frequencies fracture, memories disassemble. Unheard cadences and fluid impressions fuse, bending the 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑟𝑒 into new forms. Vibrations rise, ancestral, synthetic, primal. Reverberations warp, surfaces melt, light and sound seep into each other, distorting perception. 
Season 2 deepens the convergence, expanding the threshold of experience. A ritual of contamination."

A healing ambient “cosmic lullaby” with a barely-there 60 BPM pulse (or no drums), built from airy pads and distant crystal chimes wrapped in huge, clean reverb. A soft, whispery female hum (wordless and very low in the mix) floats like a gentle reassurance in the night. The frequency bed blends 432Hz grounding calm, 528Hz heart-warming harmony, and a faint 963Hz halo shimmer—smooth and rounded, never sharp. Spacious, pure, and safe, it slowly fades in, holds a steady stillness, then fades out like starlight dissolving into quiet—inviting deep relaxation and peaceful sleep.
