Sqz Me - True Evil EP

Another lap around the sun means more music from the vault :) I am super happy to get this music out into the wild and hope it finds many happy ears across various sound systems. 

"Rootin" and "WTF" are two of my favorite 140 tracks I have ever written. After many attempts to find them a home I have decided to release them myself.

"Act like that" is the most recently written song of the bunch and is a great milestone is my Drum and Bass catalog. As well as "Vanish" which was a test of sampling and really conveying emotion with next to no words. As always, Thanks for listening :)

Lacuna - Reboot EP (JT008)

Jah-Tek welcomes Indian born and now Netherlands based producer Lacuna to the collective with a 4 tracker varying in deep bass expression.

Lacuna starts the EP off with space and pressure. 'Regenerate' bends and manipulates the audio spectrum to carve an unsettling arrangement with stretched rasps and airy artefacts.

Track 2 'Jawdrop' ramps up the energy with an exploding bassline that opens and retracts, whilst oscillating in parallel to a complementary shuffling hi-hat pattern.

The EP then progresses into electric tonality with track 3 'Love U So'. An ensemble that features a plethora of lead harmonics that afflict like a lightning surge, with further intensification from a resonating vocal shout.

To conclude the EP, Lacuna strips back the colour with 'Proto Nucleya', a dubstep wobbler, with a strong percussive dynamics and marching rhythmics.

'Reboot EP' drops on the 13th of September exclusively via Bandcamp, followed by a full release on all platforms on the 20th of September.

Hailing from France, Darj presents a selection of murky, organic, and heavyweight tunes with definite middle eastern flavor and dub influence.  The title track, Ka'Andirah, is full of ethnic percussion and starts with a dreary soundscape highlighted by a reverberant middle eastern style vocal that transports the listener to an ancient past.  Substantial bass, and dynamic rhythms give the sound system a workout pushing you into the future.  Red Crypt continues with the ancient vibe, but adds a relentless sub-bass to keep the dance moving.  Envenom & Seamless Whole push the listener even further into the deep, dark depths of Darj's production.  Finally, Vesta rounds off the EP with consistent half-time kicks placed in a sparse sonic soundscape.  Remix of the title track by @Deafblind.

Roklem - Destined To Wither (OUT ON Dec. 31st on SUB garden !)

One would be hard pressed to find the sounds of Haack.  The tunes by this mysterious producer are kept deep in secure hard drive array accessible only to a few.  Sub Pressure is one of the few entities that has access to these dark and murky sounds.
