When we dance the third eye we intend to have a dance of in-sight so we begin by formulating a question around something in our life that we are seeking more clarity on. As we breathe and dance into the third eye we open into a no-mind state, a silent peaceful place. Our higher intuitive mind can be heard when the mental chatter ceases, so that is why we focus on a no-mind state for the dance.

The focus of the third eye dance is to integrate a deeper aware-ness of the life issues and patterns in all of the chakras. It is a dance of integration rather than purification. It is a dance to open up to the new evolutionary ways of being. We dance to gain clarity and insight, as cultivating the third eye aligns us to divine mind and higher consciousness.

Seattle's Yaima performs the song "Dusk's Dawning" at their show in Bellingham at the Sacred Bass Session HALLOWE'EN gathering, 10/30/15. The song was originally written and performed by Subaqueous on his album "Tides of Twilight"; Yaima reworked it and added vocals for his remix album "ReCreate." “Stand With Us to Bless the Waters” is our prayer of solidarity for the Lakota Sioux Nation, & all the Water Protectors who have converged in North Dakota Standing Rock Reservation at the Dakota Access Pipeline. This is the first time in centuries that all the indigenous nations of Turtle Island (America) have come together in unity & guardianship for our Earth. This unprecedented tribal convergence has been catalyzed by the pipeline, but is representative of something much larger & more profound than a protest. 

In support for the situation in North Dakota, Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom) and Summit Jaffe (Numatik) were both separately inspired to create music for water and prayer.  Coincidentally, the two tracks were both finished at the same time on fall equinox and they were also written in the same key, making it ideal to interweave them into a one unified piece of music. While sitting in the New Mexico Hot Springs after Unify festival, Amani and Summit had the inspiration to curate this remix album. Producers from all over the world, like Earth Cry, Mystral, Soulacybin, Martin’s Garden, Ecometric, Gumi, and Twin Shape added their unique psychedelic downtempo flavors. Native elders like Black Fox Pomani, and Yona FrenchHawk imbued the music with intentional water prayers. United together, we humbly offer this medicinal musical journey in support and healing. Water is Life!

The fluid movements in a sea of fusion is the heart of Subaqueous music.  By blending future past and eclectic rhythms Subaqueous moves the listeners through a sonic epic.  

The Debut album, Waterscapes, is a playful splash that stayed on the top Midtempo charts. It was #1 on Bandcamp.com for 3 months straight. Subaqueous Second album which released in 2012, Immerge, which moved audiences into the divine. It quickly gained traction and made his work international. Subaqueous' love of music extends beyond just music, his commitment is to music that raises consciousness; for this reason in the Fall 2012 he worked with the nonprofit Critical Beats to fundraiser money to save the Amazon. Together they created the EP, “Threshold of Night.”  Critical Beats is a not for profit that uses any resources from music sales to help with important projects with the Amazon. In this way the music not only help a message of self discovery and contemplation, but also a deeply physical message of helping stop the destruction of the amazon.

In the summer of 2013 Subaqueous last album was a culmination of all his connections and years of dedication. The Album, ReVision, featured remixes by fellow musicians with the same deep love of ecstatic dance and lush music. It featured artist such as Govinda, eO, Erothyme, futexture, and others.
