Canada holds a special place in my heart. I do not often release my live sets, but this set was one of those epic moments to remember. People were beaming with love, dancing, and the sun was setting in a beautiful golden hue.

The album's title, Past Life, refers to the feelings and ideas that were circulating when the tracks were created, but also to how it feels to look back at old music and the old selves who created it. There is an unsettling but tempting feeling about the future for the artist. 

The tracks selected for this release are those that he always listened to without really knowing where they came from or where they were going, as he is still surprised to this day that he created them. They do not resemble Ranga's previous music, but rather, for him, they are music of the future.

Surrender to an intentional Universal experience to reconnect to our ancestral roots as Devin brings forth to the Now an enlightening remembrance through downtempo feels meant to  trigger our higher purpose. 

Devin Kroes is an electronic music producer and multi instrumentalist with a desire to awaken and inspire his listeners. Based in Bay Area, California, he seeks to sonically recreate the aesthetics of the world around him with squishy bass and sultry strings. His music seeks to create a sense of familiarity while transporting the listener into the depths of the infinite. He seeks to provide a unique live experience by utilizing live guitar and a looper, allowing him to improvise and making each set immersive and captivating for the listener. I'm more than excited to announce that I'll be playing a sunrise set at The 4,3,2,1 Event in the stunning Astral Valley in Missouri, which takes place during the greatest duration of the American solar eclipse in August, 2017. 
A truly unique gathering with a lineup that includes some of my all time favourites: Dave Tipper (playing 3 sets!), Kid Koala, LTJ Bukem DJ, Glen Velez, Sekou Kouyate, Cut Chemist, Richard Devine, Lusine, Invisibl Skratch Piklz, mr. projectile and many more!

Had so much fun down at envision 2017 working on the build crew for 3 weeks and getting to play this set on the Luna Stage, built by the amazing peeps from The Reliquarium!!!   Such an amazing gathering all the way around, big ups to the Site Ops and Production crews for putting in 110%!!!

Live @ Envision 2017 - Luna Stage

This was the first set I've played especially for artists while they paint, at Furtherrr Stage Oregon Eclipse Festival. This was such a magical place, right in the forest, with treehouses decorated with intricately woven psychedelic art and hanging lights, bouncing suspended nets, cozy lounges on multiple levels and of course the main attraction... a huge canvas transformed into an incredible artwork over the course of the festival. Unlike mosts sets where I focus on energizing a dance floor, I put this set together to inspire the artists' creative minds while they painted. Thank you Furtherrr crew for having me play, it was a truly unforgettable experience to play in this wonderland!

Spreading good vibes far and wide. Opened up pass the illusion we depict and define. Let go of thought and empty your mind. Creating new visual perceptions in hopes to remind. We are all One Love no need to rewind. 

The fluid movements in a sea of fusion is the heart of Subaqueous music.  By blending future past and eclectic rhythms Subaqueous moves the listeners through a sonic epic.  

The Debut album, Waterscapes, is a playful splash that stayed on the top Midtempo charts. It was #1 on Bandcamp.com for 3 months straight. Subaqueous Second album which released in 2012, Immerge, which moved audiences into the divine. It quickly gained traction and made his work international. Subaqueous' love of music extends beyond just music, his commitment is to music that raises consciousness; for this reason in the Fall 2012 he worked with the nonprofit Critical Beats to fundraiser money to save the Amazon. Together they created the EP, “Threshold of Night.”  Critical Beats is a not for profit that uses any resources from music sales to help with important projects with the Amazon. In this way the music not only help a message of self discovery and contemplation, but also a deeply physical message of helping stop the destruction of the amazon.

In the summer of 2013 Subaqueous last album was a culmination of all his connections and years of dedication. The Album, ReVision, featured remixes by fellow musicians with the same deep love of ecstatic dance and lush music. It featured artist such as Govinda, eO, Erothyme, futexture, and others.
