It was not in the golden ages, no.
It was in the mud of time,
when the old world, rotten with lies,
believed it had extinguished its last ember.
Then...
—against all logic and all hope—
the architects of the dream
drove a stone of sun into the chest
of a young woman.

It was not a fairy's gift, no!
It was a wound of light,
a slab of fire in the guts
of the chosen one.
The rune was not read on parchments:
it was branded with fire on her side,
and her wisdom was not from books,
but from the weeping that purifies
and from the blood that decides.

The world that received her spat darkness.
A market of souls, a kingdom of hunger,
a land without sap, a grey wasteland.
And she, with her burning stone,
did not descend from a throne of clouds:
she rose from the muck,
barefoot and trembling,
but with the rune ignited
like an axe against the night.


And she began to cut through the gloom!
Every step of hers was a lightning strike.
She did not preach with empty sermons:
she shouted with the example of her incandescent chest.
"Behold —she seemed to say—
light is not borrowed.
Light is conquered
when you dare to carry your own bonfire
in the place of the heart."

She did not come to reign over anyone.
She came to remind us
that each one carries a rune to be written
on the brutal stone of their own destiny.
That courage is not the absence of fear,
but the fortitude to walk in spite of fear.
That fantasy is not fleeing from this world,
but the tool to forge a new one.


And so, without armies or decrees,
the maiden of the rune,
—that luminous scar—
wove an invisible homeland
where the only requirement to enter
was to accept that the most powerful light
is born from the wound we choose to turn
into a lighthouse.


The most powerful light is born from the wound that becomes a beacon.
