Karachi born, Toronto-based producer, Fahad Ahmad (aka Measure Divide) makes his Clergy debut with a forward thinking dose of techno for the imprint’s 24 th release.

The record opens up with ‘Green’, an inviting piece of alienesque sound design crafted on an infectious groove to lock you in, ripe for the warehouse. ‘Parallel’ hits deeper with modulated bass rhythms that rip through the system over saturated kicks and pitch black atmosphere.

The B-side accelerates the pace with ‘Polaroid’ which encompasses a rhythmic synth hook crafted over raw drum sequences. Closing the record is ‘Druem’ an evolving piece of synthesis smeared in rolling percussion and splattered vocals; pristine for the floor.

Next up is Measure Divide. This year, the Karachi-born, Toronto-based producer released his first record after a five year hiatus on Cleric's imprint Clergy. Here he pushes a fresh take on techno with weird yet interesting sound design. However, he far from an unknown figure in the scene. The past years he has been ½ of the MDD duo, releasing tracks on AnD's Inner Surface and South London Analogue Material. Apart from that he's also organized several parties in Toronto, inviting artists as DVS1 and Blawan. For the next hour, be ready for one of our picks as artist to watch in 2022!

'hot steel'  is back on трип!

For the second round in the series, the idea remains the same - Nina Kraviz announces the stream date and sends out a call to artists for their unreleased music to oidodekraviz@gmail.com, all genres are welcome. After the stream takes place, the favourite tracks are signed and a few weeks later a digital only 'hot steel' compilation is released.

The second hot steel stream took place in Mykonos' Cavo Paradiso and results into another multitalented, high octane and unique 21 track compilation.
