The debut album "Unbändige Kinder" by Angelo Repetto and Nicolas Balmer, alias Konstant, blossoms from the burdens of days gone by and describes their world in a phase of change and new beginnings.

Constantly looking ahead, driven by New Wave, Kraut and Post Punk, they define their own musical form. Both have been active in the Zurich scene for a long time and have come together to create their own language. The album is characterised by rawness, bluntness and the syllables from the heart. Honest and direct.

Recorded and produced by Domi Chansorn at Studio G5, the recording describes the rawness of our time. Perhaps the feeling of a generation – maybe just a breath of the wind.

For the release of "Unbändige Kinder", Subject To Restrictions Discs and Default Mode Records are joining forces and releasing the music into a world that needs it.

Bakk Heia Podcast No.1 - Vladimir Ivkovic (Live at The White Hotel) 

We begin our podcast series with a recording from one of the great DJs of our time, Vladimir Ivkovic, playing the final 3 hours of Bakk Heia at The White Hotel in May 24. 

In typical Vlad fashion there is a distinct and unique narrative quality to the mix. Whilst genre defying psychedelia churns into spikey IDM, and wailing post punk iterations flow into mainline acid stomp, there is an over arching sense of tenderness to the selection. Vlad told us after the lights came on that it was his intention to hold and take care of us that night. Transforming the spiralling chaos of the club environment to one which nurtures, rather than obliterates, our frenzied minds. 

We hope you enjoy listening as much as we did dancing.

ESTER (Prague)
Ester is an Italian-born, Prague-based artist who is known in the Czech darkwave and electronic music scene. She began her career in 2018 and has since made a name for herself with her eclectic, dark, and danceable sets. Her music style is heavily influenced by genres like EBM, new beat,
industrial, darkwave, and post-punk, often creating a trip through these sounds. But there are no borders in her music selection. She remains in her element when playing in other areas such as dark-ambient and oriental that fill the gaps of silence in her daily life.

OLINSTVI (Compact Disco, LBD Sounds - Prague)
Olin, always all in on the hunt to discover overlooked treasures in the bargain bin, shaped by the vibrant London heydays at Phonica Records, is now based in Prague. Known for an eclectic music selection that blends cosmic sounds, 12” dub B-sides, acid house and his own edits, consistently
showcases forward-thinking grooves with a big smile—whether on the dancefloors of Bike Jesus and Ankali or at outdoor shenanigans.
With years of gigs across Europe, Southeast Asia, and Oceania, Olinstvi combines wide musical knowledge with a commitment to the original spirit and message. As the founder of LBD Sounds, a label dedicated to exploring Czechoslovak electronic history while providing a platform for
emerging artists, his work has gained praise from industry heavyweights, including the DJ Kicks compilation, and features collaborations with the likes of Ashley Beedle, Jonny Rock, and JDTwitch and in some of the cases, he serves as executive producer on the label's outings. Dedicating
most of his time to uncovering forgotten treasures, he ensures that the spirit continues to evolve.

RAPHAEL KOSMOS
Taking up DJing and record digging early on, and grinding away to every booth in the city, Raphael Kosmos has seen it all. His practice started taking shape during the massively spread freetek movement. Being affiliated
with local sound systems, illegally occupying various fields and warehouses, his way of thinking was nudged away from mainstream culture. Progressing with his taste, he later co-founded Endless Illusion, a seminal local label which brought releases and appearances of international guests,
creating one of the first connections of our city with the outside world, while inspiring younger generations a decade later.
His fascination with music of all kinds knows little limits and it is rare to hear him having a conversation on the bar about anything else than the music itself. Owning a vast collection of records and always with some fresh digs at hand, he can be spotted at a wide range of parties and clubs, from Disco feasts to industrial shindigs. In 2021 he founded a new publishing outlet of his own, a white label called Späti Records, which aims to put out music Kosmos thinks deserves to be outed, and under which he now irregularly
organises parties in several like-minded spots. Under his own or the Späti brand he regularly contributes mixes to various online stations (Mutant, Laude, Punctum). On a daily basis you can meet him behind the counter of Graffneck, the street art store with a considerable record section
which Kosmos maintains fresh and juicy.
