Black Coffee 2 was released 2000 on the 1998 established label Ecco Chamber in Vienna (a sublabel of XXX Records) for presenting new music from the genres Downtempo (mainly in Vienna produced tracks - Vienna Downtempo), Dopebeatz, Jazzy NuGroove, Chillout & Loungemusic, new styles coming up & getting big in the 90s. 6 compilations were released, the trax were selected & mixed by Scheibosan & eMU.

Armando Kroma - Lucid - Downtempo Mix

A synthesis of the many disciplines I had developed at the time, around 2012.  Production, composition, guitar, psychoacoustics, and (for lack of a better phrase) sound healing.  It's steady, groovy, trippy, bluesy, gentle rockin', and very psychedelic.  And it's quite long for one track.  The beat stays fairly steady while themes of guitar interplay and production techniques provide the journey. I was studying the field of "Cymatics" at the time and attempted to use that information to embed "healing" frequencies.  So, if anyone notices that their scar tissues or symptoms of adhesion improve, please let me know.  As per their research validity I leave it to you (or a scientist friend) to check it out, as I'm only an armchair researcher.  But here's hopin'!! Enjoy :)

BIG GUY little guy (aka Anton Tumas and Treavor Moontribe)live at Subtract On The Pier is over 4 hours of deep electronica bliss!!! This set was played to set up the incredible DJs Sabo and Goldcap on a day that ended up being the most packed show on the Long Beach Pier to date! These events present a unique opportunity for this duo to showcase their vast range of musicality by playing deep ambient and building up from downtempo to mid tempo deep house and tribal sounds. This set is downright sexy and is one to close your eyes to and get lost in atmospheric soundscapes! Enjoy!

Craig Godfrey is an accomplished musician, composer, producer, audio engineer & sound healer. He has produced and performed both solo and in collaborations including The Checktones (with Brian Saitzyk/Eastern Sun), Four Eyed Whale (with Steven Anderson), and The Ramen Empire (with J.T. Carstarphen). His signature sonic creations are the fruition of 25+ years of artistic evolution, blending diverse influences and explorations: the unique sound of Four Eyed Whale combining indie rock and soul/r&b... the Checktones integration of sound healing and psychoacoustics with experimental electronic production and sound design.... his own fusion of punk/rock indie guitar feels with electronic beats and synths and soundscapes. Craig's growing solo catalogue also includes genre-defying cinematic pieces featuring guitar or piano, and otherwise melding traditional instruments with synths and electronic production, as well as studies in sound design for media. 

Recent works draw upon the eclectic influences of his childhood amid the music scenes of New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, and broader global travel (rock/punk/indie, bossa nova, electronica, soul, blues, and funk, jazz, classical, and American folk, among others). After studying guitar since the age of 12, he cut his teeth with his first rock/pop/punk band in Austin, TX in the mid-90s, before studying music at MI inn Hollywood.  Craig is inspired further by an immersion over the past two decades in rave, festival, and psychedelic art undergrounds, as well as in meditative, sound-healing, and teaching spaces, and his passion for media and narrative entertainment in all its forms.
