With a slew of prestigious accolades and endorsements (Outlook Festival, UKF, Croydub, Uprise Audio, Rinse FM, Subtle FM), and as a core-resident of Bristol’s Rotations collective, it’s clear to see that she’s doing something right.

She is also the master-mind behind Dynamics: a growing database and blog that celebrates female, female-identifying and non-binary artists in dubstep and drum & bass. With this exciting new initiative only just dawning, and a reliably gripping musical output, there is an encouraging future ahead.

Travel into the outer realms with @soundsofthekairo & @sirsumwun for the first installment of the obsidian mix series. Centered upon heavy bass lines and left field dubstep, this mix is curated of their favorite sounds released from the last year & beyond. Originally recorded for Vancouver Canada's Art of Beatz radio for Kairo's Loto EP release, we both decided what better way to kick off this mix series by a showcase of sounds from the cosmic void. We both would also like to extend appreciation and gratitude to those who have supported us along the way. You true supporters will be forever etched in the archive of obsidian.

A special thanks to my friends at Sublimate Records for inviting me onto their Sublimix series. With all the clubs closed down I felt a bit rusty behind the decks, but recording this mix definitely recharged my DJ-energy. I tried to include as many new & unreleased tracks as possible from myself, my label Samsara Beats and other producers friends! Genrewise there’s a bit of everything from 160 to 175 BPM: Halftime, DNB, Footwork-Jungle, Rave, Acid, Dub contaminations & more. I hope you enjoy it!
