Hello everyone! :) I am the music producer Peanutbutter Willaims. I proudly present to you my Tipper & Friends 2022 Mix competition submission titled "Back 2 Where We Came From". This is a 45 min Journey mix. Once you guys announced the contest I then decided to create all brand new original music to use just for this mix. I spent over a month creating the music for this mix. So I ended up making a parcel of brand new original music all in the key of C minor to take you on this musical journey. This quickly became a project that meant something very special to me. My visual collaborator Seth Hopton/Hopper Visuals, and I have spent day and night for over a month creating this project. I spent every hour I had working on the music while Seth would sit in the studio with me creating 3D visuals to use to create a visual mix to go along with it. I dug deep into all my musical influences to curate the music for this project spanning over many genres. Many sleepless days and nights went into creating this for you guys. We hope you have as much of a journey listening to this mix as we did creating it. I wanna thank Dave Tipper, and his team from the bottom of my heart for having this competition. It made us pull something magical from within ourselves to push the limits mentally, physically, and spiritually to create this. So for that i am forever grateful that no matter what happens we made this piece of art to share with the world because they decided to allow us artists to submit a project to them to be considered to perform at their event. Dave Tipper has been one of my biggest musical inspirations, and it is an honor to submit music to him, and his team. The visual mix will be uploaded to the Peanutbutter Williams YouTube page. "I was viewing this as a radio mix that can go in multiple directions as I don’t have the responsibility of holding a dance floor together in real time. I guess it’s a little cerebral at parts and goes on a bit of an intense journey, but I tried to hold it together by always bringing it back to ‘riding on bass’, and towards the end is sort of a coming home to warm cuddles. I wanted to just ‘go there’ with whatever I was feeling, covering a lot of bases, as a bit of a showcase of styles that I make and like. I hope I kept the journey connected in some way, while still pushing my mixes a bit by not going so straight forward. The mix also features a couple of my remixes and 6 artists that I work with releasing some of their music on Muti Music."

LSN are a live electronic music production duo, formed in 2013. They have worked over the years drawing influence from conscious and active artists within dnb, trip-hop, psychedelic, metal and hip hop. Located in North Wales, producers Feonix & Na-kika, push sonic boundaries and blur the lines between genres bringing a sound that is fresh and unique.

Over the years they have created a diverse discography featuring vocalists such as Simetra, Warrior Queen, Rider Shafique and Roger Robinson, releasing music with Uprise Audio, Deep Dark & Dangerous, Sentry Records, Albion Collective and Diffrent Music. Their first LP ‘Oblivion’ was released on Uprise Audio in April 2016 followed by a series of EP's and singles (Control Pt 1 & Pt 2) in 2017/2018. In December 2018 they debuted on Artikal Music UK with Systematic EP. This venture gained regular play on renowned BBC radio stations - featuring on Toddla T’s 1Xtra show, Tom Ravenscroft Recommends on BBC Radio 6 Music and also electronic music trendsetter Mary Anne Hobbs’ show. In January 2020 they released on Artikal Music UK their second project named Automation EP, becoming regular members of the prolific imprint. Soon to follow was their third EP on J:Kenzo’s label, rave & breakbeat-inspired - Focus Life Energy. 

They are also working as part of the global Education & Bass movement, which has worked in favour of the aim of the collective: to push themselves to great heights and to bring something new to the music and art world.

At a young age, JUSH, residing in Denver, Colorado, was inspired by a vast scene of musical influences that created an innovative and intricate experience. Watching countless friends grow their musical production abilities over the years also allowed for much room to learn.

From the likes of Toy Box, Ill-esha, Cloud-D, Patrick Skyler, Shwilly, Braxx, and many more, production became more and more of an achievable goal with endless resources for proper understanding. Having released on The Widdfam, Subciety, Coal Mine Sound, and Stay Venomous Records and having a solid self-release catalog, JUSH is now in full swing.

Sets from JUSH become an auditory soul-shaking experience spanning from drum and bass to heavy 140 dub. It is a journey through sound and space that is not to be missed.

We’ve also hosted a Sicaria Sound radio show since 2016; Been on hiatus since October this year but we’re bringing it back in a new form in 2021!

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community: Stay true to yourself and try to constantly remind yourself how worthy you are of what you’re doing. The music industry can be frustrating and alienating at times so please don’t hurt yourself by shying away from who YOU are; we shouldn’t be pressured to fit any kinda mould. Also, support each other in genuine ways: Give praise but also don’t be afraid to share constructive criticism. No one wants to only be surrounded by “yes” people, you want people who are real with you but with a compassionate approach.

About The Mix: It’s a balance between blends we would have brought to club sound systems if they were open vs. some off-kilter ones you’re more likely to kick back to at home, maybe play on a long drive to nowhere. As always with our sets there’s plenty of low-end and percussive heavy trax.
