Jody Mc (aka Hermetik) grew up on beautiful Cape Breton Island, surrounded by Celtic music and 'kitchen parties'. Although his first beat influences were the sounds of feet stomping and the pounding of fists upon tables ... He quickly acquired a taste for the bleeps and bloops of electronic music as a late teen in the mid-90's then submerged into the underground dance scenes in Halifax, NS and Montreal, QC... Which were at that time fueled by influences such as; Christopher Lawrence, The Advent, Misstress Barbara,  Deko-ze,  DJ Sneak, Juan Atkins and Ritchie Hawtin.
