Medha is a Leipzig based Dj and promoter as a member of the PVC collective. Since the end of 2021 she is the co-host of the well-known event series aequalis at Ifz. Her passion for technoid music is shaped by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig culture and club scene, she navigates through an array of techno genres, transitioning from hypnotic and mellow rhythms to atmospheric or groovy. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds. Over the last years, she has played in clubs such as Ifz Leipzig, Tresor Berlin, ://about blank, Kalif Storch or Siroco club Madrid.

Bulgarian-born, Oslo-based talent Kameliia’s sound leaves little room for misunderstanding. It’s ghostly, powerful and mesmerising stuff that leans on a wealth of inspiration from peers and the likes of Burial’s shadowy UK dubstep. Having studied music for four years, the production of sounds comes naturally, and on the dancefloor she’s given the space to test those personal and unreleased experiments in situ; that feedback is part of the process. Her sets too follow a formula, and a narrative thread that builds from more sparsely populated compositions to maximal, high-intensity techno, a vertical trip of the purest calibre. The threatening and world-shaking sounds she’s come to be known for have coalesced into a number of well-received productions, and made her a solid collaborator for names such as Amotik, Rødhåd and Setaoc Mass; it would be hard to imagine better company for the work she’s doing. Her cavernous and highly spiritual sound is soaked in gritty textures and characterized by a generous dosing of formidable bass, enough to get blood-flowing and her calendar packed with names like Berghain, Fold, Fuse and essaim. This month we’ve got party starters Tokyo Fantasy taking the lead in our mix series. Cam and “Nervous” Fergus are the self-proclaimed music dork duo from London, whose diverse parties have hosted highly respected names like Tornado Wallace, Secretsundaze, Jamie Tiller, and previous guest mix contributor, Carista.

Whilst they have outgrown their reputation as “perpetual warm up DJ’s”, Cam and Fergus do know how to de-ice a crowd like no other. This is exactly what you’ll hear in this 1 hour 45 mins long mix, developing gradually from smooth-as-Sade tracks, to dubby instrumentals, into boogie, slow Italo, African voodoo, finishing off with some grade A disco.
