Ghostly International and Spectral Sound. Of Art & Artifice since 1999.

This profile is mostly a repository for my amateur solo brain farts. Each of these tracks represents an idea that I really liked, but that didn't really fit in with any of the bands/projects I was active with at that moment. My technical skills are definitely lacking, but the enthusiasm was running high with each of these. Hopefully, this page can also serve as a timeline of my progress learning how to record things by myself. 

Despite the novice/amateur nature of these recordings, I have spent time playing with some high quality groups of talented folks in Austin and San Antonio. Trashy & The Kid, She Craves, Art Versus Industry, Sleep Now Yes, and Anarki are some of the more recent groups that have invited me to perform on their stage, and I'm super proud of the work I've done with each of them.

An air of romanticism and mystery delivered with electronic ambiance, funky rhythms, and heart-felt melodies.

Rezinunts is a hodge-podge of variously styled music, mostly electronic in nature, composed by Riki Rezinunts (Gross National Produkt, Brother Cement, Ashen Tone). 

The catalog of work from this project started off mainly as a retrospective of tunes from over the years created by Riki which he felt really did not or could not fit into any of his other dominant projects.

From there it took on a life and identity of it's own. The project is considered by it's audience to be more ambient, airier, and accessible than Riki's other projects and has an over-all sense of mystery and romanticism attached to it.

Skeletal Shroud was created in the year 1998 while experimenting with several different elements. It has since then matured into a monstrosity of sound and creative mixture of genre's. The line up for Skeletal Shroud is

5-piece gothic/shoegaze/darkwave band from Austin, TX

The Nimbus is an electronic band from Austin, Texas; formed in late 2011 by Ritch Napierkowski and Martin McCreadie. Having spent the previous two and a half years working together on other projects, including subNatural which had placed five straight years in the Austin Chronicle Music Poll, the two began performing cacophonous pop songs tailored for cloudy days.
 
With musical influences spanning alternative and indie rock, trip hop, dub, industrial, jazz, blues, and more, they use haunting melodies, lush atmospheres and mangled electronics to envelop the listener. Mixed with a love of eclectic instrumentation and effects, the result is glitched electropop as foreign as it is familiar.

In 2013, The Nimbus played Synth By Southwest IV with Fielded and Feathers, Convergence XIX with Bloody Knives, and opened for oOoOO. The duo has expanded to include drummer/instrumentalist, Gabriel Barrientes, of CTRL and Rescue Mission. They are currently planning their first release which is scheduled for February 2014.
