Tried and tested by Sub Templa and DJ EZ himself over the summer, ‘Runnin’’ follows an exciting series of dispatches from the Southampton-based rising talent. Raised to the soundtrack of local UKG legend heroes like Craig David, Artful Dodger and, more recently, FOOR, Sub Templa has been keeping the UK south coast UKG tradition alive with a string of cuts on labels such as 24 Hour Garage Girls, Bad & Bassy, Garage Shared and GS Dubs. Now he antes up once again with this powerful slab of four-to-the-floor magic.

Soulful but bumping. Sweet but heavy. There’s no compromising here as ‘Runnin’ rolls out with clarity and serious groove craftsmanship. Loaded with plenty of little details – switches, cuts, classic house stabs and a wide range of musical elements and instruments – ST keeps things moving and busy but never loses sight of the vibe. Easy to say, very hard to do – and when it’s done right, it’s the essence of UKG.

Sub Templa is a UK-based DJ and producer known for blending the raw energy of 140, grime, bassline, and UK garage into a sound that's both rooted and forward-thinking. Since stepping onto the Garage scene in 2018, he's dropped tracks on respected labels like 24 Hour Garage Girls, Nuvolve, Garage Shared, and GS Dubs, with radio support from KISS FM and BBC Introducing. His sets and productions channel the energy of the rave while staying rooted in the UK underground. 

Influenced by artists like DJ EZ, MJ Cole, Disclosure, The Streets, and Sammy Virji, Sub Templa's sound blends soulful grooves with low-end weight. He's shared stages with top names including DJ EZ, Sammy Virji, Gentlemens Club, Fish560ctagon, and Notion, solidifying his name across the UK bass circuit.
