Blooming Heart gathering.. ahh my favorite type of event. It's basically a blissed utopia on an island in the NW in the summer. Doesn't get much better for me. This set was late night until shortly before sunrise.. outdoors by the tea lounge. I listen to ambient music about as much as I listen to music with beats so this is a big part of my life, stoked to share it with you! I played tunes of mine that I thought were appropriate for a sunny summer afternoon. When I showed up to the stage is was a pleasant surprise to see thousands of people there at the opening ceremony for the festival.  I didn't know that ceremony was going to be on the stage I was performing at (Earth Stage, pic is shown), so this was an epic surprise. The ceremony was very powerful and moving and I ended up picking new songs of mine to start out my set about 60 seconds before I started playing music. Symbioses throws my favorite music festivals in the US so I'm deeply grateful to be involved! It's free download and the quality with the free download sounds WAY better than SoundCloud.

Mysteries of the Deep LXXV - ERIC CLOUTIER | THE CORIOLIS EFFECT

In 1992, Namlook created FAX as a means of releasing his own productions and collaborations. The label swiftly evolved into a huge stable for ambient-leaning artists of all shapes and stripes. The label was very much forged Namlook’s own image: catalogue numbers starting with PK signified a solo release, those with PS pointed towards other artists, and PW were reserved for collaborative exercises. Each of the releases were rarely printed in batches of more than 1000, building FAX’s cult cache considerably.

Namlook’s own work formed the bulk of FAX’s output, and runs to somewhere in the region of 130 albums. As you’d expect from a discography that capacious, it’s a highly varied collection. Alongside this 3 h 30 ambient mix, this mix shows an enormous body of work, a major achievement, and testament to a work ethic contemporaries could do well to learn from. If Aliens listened to music this is what they would be bumping in their spacecrafts.

Luke’s dynamic live act includes playing a mixture of electronic and acoustic music while mixing in multiple live wind instruments and live drumming. His lifelong devotion to community dance medicine started at age 14 in 1998 when he started to DJ at northwest USA raveriffic events! He then started touring the world and releasing hundreds of songs released with a large number of the biggest labels in the world like Selador, Desert Hearts, Digital Structures, Dreaming Awake, Desert Trax, Booka Shade Music. 

This is deep piscean scorpio music, sprinkled with unusual sounds, unexpected twists, eclectic mix of global sounds, various tempos and grooves. It reflects stories of love-driven culture and open-minded ideas.  Depending on the crowd, the sets can vary from being pretty and uplifting to deep, dark, and primal, although they typically feature melodic and atmospheric textures infused with a lot of emotion.  Luke also has a functional (natural, root cause) medicine practice as this weaves so beautiful with dance and music medicine. He helps people heal frequent issues of the gut, metabolism and tiredness. 

Luke’s songs have been played by legends like Sasha, James Zabiela, Boris Brejcha, Solomon, Desert Dwellers, Dave Seaman, Kaya Project, and BLOND:ISH.
