Manchester based electronic duo Codex bring the aesthetics of modern dance music to traditional song forms, fusing them together and forming their own mark of experimental pop. Taking production and song writing influence from the likes of James Blake, Tame Impala and Burial, the vocal style of Thom Yorke, and the thumping drums akin to techno, breakbeat & hip hop.

Notable shows include performances at Beat-Herder Festival and a support slot for Warp residents: Battles, at the Manchester venue Gorilla.
