Sound Avenue continues a strong summer season by welcoming Diego Moreira back to the label for his debut EP. First emerging as a DJ in 2009, Argentinian artist Diego Moreira would establish himself across his countries vibrant progressive house scene, performing alongside Antrim, Ezequiel Arias, Graziano Raffa, Mariano Mellino, Mike Griego, Nick Muir and Sound Avenue label boss Madloch, amongst others. Highly regarded for his impeccable taste and smooth programming skills, it was 2018 that would see Diego make his debut as producer. On the strength of early tracks 'Tina' and 'Nomis', Diego would go on a five-year creative swell, recording standout projects for 3rd Avenue, Late Night Music and Sudbeat, in turn earning the praise of Hernan Cattaneo, Jamie Stevens, Nick Warren and Solomun. May of this year would mark Diego's Sound Avenue debut, one where the Cordoba resident put a dark progressive spin on 'A Fading Dream' by Madloch and Sudnode. Now, presenting his first original project for the label, Diego returns to Sound Avenue with 'Feeling', alongside remixes from EANP, FJL and Mckeown & Bassiray.

Creepy Finger proudly presents 'Subtractive' with his monster debut release 'Theta Freq'. The EP features two solid original tracks with remixes from heavyweights Duky and Percival. 

- In 2015, Alex Hunt aka Subtractive released a track called 'Certified Freak'. His definition of 'freak' is a positive one, especially in the nightlife space. The people he knows who are DJs, bar stars & festival enthusiasts all pride themselves on not being restricted by the status quo. 

Culturally, this cluster took the words 'weirdo', 'freak' & 'odd', and turned them on their head, giving them a positive meaning. At the same time, they dissed the terms 'normal' & 'basic.' To coalesce into the dance music scene, you want to be a little weird. You want to be a bit odd. This was the foundation of 'cool'- if you are a certified freak, you're in.

Cut to 2019: Those who were simply clubbers looking for a great weekend have evolved into part-time shamans- the woke generation has arrived. It's not just enough to be different, you need to ascend to enlightenment. This EP is an evolution of those two worlds, ravers and prophets, converging.  

A play on words- 'Theta Freq' and 'Alpha Freq' draw inspiration from dreams and meditation. Theta frequencies and Alpha frequencies are two essential types of brainwaves. A deep spiritual connection and unity with the cosmos can be experienced at Theta. Alpha is the gateway to your subconscious mind; the foundation of your conscious awareness. In honor, 'frequency' has been shortened to 'Freq'- Freak 2.0

Above all else, these tracks are meant to bust up a sound system and shake the dance floor.
