Birmingham beatsmith Ryan Resso is making his Hottrax debut with a dancefloor destroyer, 'Still Get You'. Two worlds collide in number nine from OPIA Records as they welcome on board Orbital London maestro Jack Michael, and BODY MVMT ambassador, Robert James for the ‘Salt & Shake’ EP. The UK pair join forces for two collaboration tracks, receiving remixes from two of Uruguay’s finest, Michelle and Fede Lijtmaer. 

Opener ‘Pleasure Beach’ is a dynamic dance floor assault, subtly organ led through a storm of rough and ready sounds, a familiar energy from the OPIA label, pushing club ready material in a discerning fashion. Providing her ‘Pepsi Max Mix’ is live performer, and label affiliate Michelle. A slightly more progressive take on the original, ready to make an impact. 

With more snap than a Paul Hollywood shortbread is the B1 ‘Great British Break Off’. A rollercoaster of intensity, intelligently arranged by the dynamite duo. Clean broken drums complimenting the sub heavy bass. Delivering the final track of the EP is Fede Lijtmaer remixing the B1. A classy outing from the South American, a spiralling trip through beeps and bleeps.

To end 2020 we have our first full length various artists release. Ten downtempo tracks by great artists and dear friends from different parts of the world. Europe based Iranian producers Tonnovelle opening with an awesome beat, followed by Uruguayan rising star Stonem, and established talent Santiago Uribe with a new aka. Next Two Phase U exploring a slower pace, Berlin beat deconstruction wizard Matma, and new Colombian talent Adi with a beautiful creation. Back to Uruguay with other strongly rising talent Lo-Lo, followed by an established name in the scene, Jorge Gamarra. Fantastic  producer Phoro gives way to amazing Berlin producer Otis with a soothing two-track ambient closure to the long play.
