this time i got the honour to open my fav' club, 
before hidde van wee, iris menza & wouter s.
i wanted to play some of my newest tracks,
and tended to take my fellow dancers on a sweet journey.
it made me feel good to see the crowd enjoying the music,
and got me even more excited for the next time i'll be playin'.

there ain’t nothing like a sweet obscure house party!

hi there, ❀

i felt really flattered the moment i was invited for this one.
the nice guy who thought about me is a friend & loyal supporter,
who was planning to throw a proper party with his bud'.
they decided their party should contain some sucre. house, 
which meant that i set foot at club nl for the very first time.
this intimate club where red lights made me feel comfortable,
and where the quality of the sound was excellent.
together with a cheerful group of dancing partypeepz,
warming up the place before brian s. & frederik abas was a stunning job to do.
next to this blissful experience it got me some rather unexpected,
an invite to play at my dj-homie's legendary bday afterparty...
which meant a new chapter of sweet adventures had begun!

DJ Fki. Der Turntablist und Producer aus Saarbrücken hat bereits klassische Hip Hop Mixes für zb. Backspin FM oder Beatminerz Radio (USA) recordet und konnte schon Credits auf diversen Rap-Tracks in Form von Scratches sammeln. Zudem kann er auch im Club oder Festival ordentlich die Crowd rocken. Der starke Hip Hop Einfluss in seinem Mix aus House, UK Bassline und UK Garage lässt sogar jeden Rap Fan auf dem Dancefloor durchdrehen. Sein tiefes Verständnis nach fast 20 Jahren an den Turntables und seiner eigenen Version von Mixing gepaart mit Turntablism Skills machen ihn zu einem echten Profi an den Decks! Sein eigener Sound ist unverkennbar und sorgt immer wieder für Aufsehen.

hi there,

this was a special one at my homebase, Club Atelier Amsterdam.
this time, i felt that the music should grab us from right on, 
like emotionally, and then carry us away. 
i wanted to deliver a high-end sucre. house set,
a musical journey which should reflect the things i had on my mind lately.

the track i opened with is one of my fav' deep groovers.
it just caught me full on when i heard it at first, 
so mysterious, melancholic, serious, sweet, sad, emotional... wow. SO GOOD. 
gives me goosebumps everytime i hear it… 

the track turned out to be a match made in heaven with tim deluxe's ‘feelings’. 
happy me, as i was going to play my new track ‘love is’, 
which was sampled from tim deluxe’s production. this way, also an original masterpiece of his would be heard.

also, i finally got the chance to throw one of my fav' tracks coming straight from the underground by @julienfuentes. i can remember exactly the moment i first came across it and knew imideately that i should play it in this set.

as i was on opening duties before @kellieallen & @artmannmusic, i first got the chance to meet hem and get to know them better. they really made me feel welcome and therefore comfortable as an newbie artist. thanks to them i felt even more acknowledged being dj sucre. 😍

i cannot wait to be back again... so, to be continued!! 😼
