First up on this EP is the title track &#8216;This Is Not The Future&#8217; and wasting no time in order to realize this track is going to be a summer techno anthem. A driving bassline cut and a funky groove, flowing nicely with solid drums in the foreground. Quality stuff to kick things off. Next is &#8216;Oula&#8217; and again both of them deliver a techno funky cut this time. Perfect bassline combined with the intricate drums as well, this production again is a peak time material. Its Khen up next, the talented producer and DJ from Tel Aviv, who featured on the labels recent Sudbeats compilation, and fans of his work include Guy J and Nick Warren, and of course Mr Cattaneo.
Sense Of Time is a deep hypnotic little number, that gets under your skin, with its subtle warm melodic changes and wicked fx that add a trippy layer to this excellent track.
On remix duties we pop over to Madrid to see Luis Junior who runs for his own Mooseekaa label and has released on Bedrock and microCastle to name a few.
Luis remix adds some punch, but keeping the cool vibes and depth from the original, making the remix a spacious nice alternative mix.

Luis Junior is one of the most in demand producer's of the moment. The Spanish producer was one of 2010s brightest stars in electronic music. He gained an immense following over the course of the year for his unique and fresh production style that combined melodies, modern day techno sensibilities and an uncanny knack for creating unrelenting, infectious grooves. 'Colache' and 'BG' both for Bedrock and his remix of Cid Inc & Lank's Coronal Mass were 3 of last year's biggest crossover tracks, all which earned support from John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo. 2011 only saw Luis grow even larger with his remixes of Monaque's 'ID' and Infusion's 'Love and Imitation'. Both tracks earned huge worldwide support and massive chart success on Beatport. Luis' unique sound and attention to detail have never been more on form.
