Argentinian producer Baunder has appeared on labels as diverse as Urban Torque and Armada, as well he also records as one half of 'Soundexile' that as well as having graced Sudbeat previously, are also studio collaborators with label boss Hernan Cattaneo.

Here we find 'Neptunia', an enchanting voyage, full of mystique, layered with melodics and a grooving bassline that maps the tracks path, as we sway to dreamier edges of the track, the crisp percussion keeps a etcher watch over it all.

On remix duties we find Hernan´s favourite 'Pole Folder', who add some drive and a take things a little darker, creating a tenser moment, while utilising the original elements, they are reworked into a beautiful mindful deep journey, while still commanding the dance floor and working up in to a frenzy.

The 'Sunday Morning' mix is one of those beautiful sunrise tracks, that you can almost feel the warmth of the sun, shining down on you. Emotional vibes and subtleness combine superbly to create a gem of a reworking.

After dropping several tracks and performing at select festivals throughout the years, Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen dedicated the year 2014 to explore the area in-between Ólafur’s more acoustic, piano-based solo work and Janus’s synth-heavy electro pop, with their collaborative electronic project Kiasmos.

By focusing solely on their self-titled debut album, Ólafur and Janus have been able to combine and further develop their unique sound aesthetics to complete an album driven by their mutual love for electronic music. Made in Ólafur’s newly build studio in Reykjavík, Iceland, a majority of the album was recorded using acoustic instruments next to a variety of synthesisers, drum machines and tape delays. It features a live drummer, string quartet and Ólafur performing on the grand piano, producing an ambient, textured sound, which makes it a perfect home listen and equally danceable record. If you listen closely, you can spot them record the thumb piano, finger snapping and even the sound of the metal grinder of a lighter slowly to replace the usual electronic hi-hat sounds, giving the album a far more intimate and unique atmosphere.

“We decided to start almost completely over with this record, so most of the material is written this year with the idea of making a record that can stand as one piece rather than a collection of songs. I am very excited to get a proper record out exploring a different territory than I am used to. I touch a lot on electronic genres in my own music but never have the opportunity to go full out electronic like we do here.” – Ólafur Arnalds

So when we early this year finally found the time to sit down and make a full length album there was so much we wanted to try out. Dave Seaman is one of the original movers and shakers of the UK house movement. He has been DJing for over 25 years and has played in over 70 countries around the world. He was an original editor of the clubbers bible, Mixmag, and has remixed and produced for everybody from David Bowie to New Order and Kylie Minogue to the Pet Shop Boys. He has also done over 20 mix compilations for the likes of Global Underground, Renaissance & Radio 1's Essential Mix and also been the main man behind the independent dance music labels, Stress Records, Audio Therapy and now his new imprint, Selador Recordings. Quite simply, Dave Seaman is one of the legends of electronic house music.

'Right side Of Wrong' is a throbbing club destroyer, full of attitude, punchy and driving, with a dark slant, yet uplifting melodies, this beautifully layered gem oozes class and is destined to do some serious dance floor damage, personifying a DJ on top of their game.

Label favourites and all round good guys Guy Mantzur & Lonya take control of remix duties, creating a blissful journey with a silky blanket of sound creating an alluring soundscape. A very accomplished reworking.

James Gill has risen to play in New York's biggest clubs alongside major international talent, as well as championed his own headlining concept shows "ReInvented". A trained audio engineer, he has released on CHANGE Audio and System Recordings. Djing from the age of 11, his unmistakeable flow during his sets has intoxicated crowds from the USA to Europe, and he can be found regularly performing at nightclubs all around New York City and surrounding areas.
Lets start with the title track, and 'Solarium' oozes class from the off with warm hypnotic tones oozing out lusciously, and before you relies the track has intensified as the phat gnarly bass powers through.
Next up 'Nevermind' is a brooding darker slanted gem, but with occasional bassline movement adding a lighter tinge, which is highlighted when the top line rockets the track in to a real party rocker with a twist!
'Sapphire' is a chunky serious gem, lots of analog sounding blips and distorted bass sounds glide over this head working techno arrangement.
Moving forward we have 'Devil In You' which blends the darker side with melodics, and packs a serious punch. A surefire club rocker.
And rounding things off nicely 'Edge Of Space' with its layered synths that build tougher as the track builds, to the mind melting intensity of the drop before slamming back in to cause serious mayhem!

Sudbeat keep the pressure of winning releases up, with more thought provoking goodness. This time the talented Kasall & Cristian R deliver three sublimely cool tracks. The boys have appeared on Asymmetric, Sound Avenue and Lowbit, and deliver an accomplished release showcasing their various sounds and production skills.

Kicking thing soft with the title track 'Outer Space', well we aren't taking any prisoners at all here, as this deep punchy voyage is a ballsey little number, with sci-fi style effects caked in reverb, creates a mystifying galactic soundscape, transporting your mind to another galaxy, while still keeps its feet firmly on the dance floor.

'Inner Space' is next with its dreamy pads layering the crisp techno beats, while subtle melodics intersperse adding a lighter tone in the drop, before the pressure builds and we slam back to a serious workout of coolness.

Closing the EP is the excellent 'Deepness', a fantastic emotive gem, intense and mood building, and one to pick up the vibe and cause a bit of a mayhem, while still remaining deep throughout.

Rising from humble beginnings like Icarus heading towards the skies, Singularity plots its course for the stratosphere as it heads ever onwards and upwards…but unlike Icarus this is a tempered and restrained ascent not an easy task to pull off but one that makes the impact so much stronger for it's subtle, ever evolving simplicity.

With a melody that comes on like a half-remembered memory and lingers long after the sound itself fades away, Singularity stays with you, slowly and carefully weaving its way around you while its drums beat a steady, forceful pulse and its percussion jumps in and out like Billy Pilgrim skipping thru time. The combined effect is something much more than the sum of its parts. Somehow this simple techno tune creates an entire world of its own and asks you to inhabit it for a while, losing yourself in the process..

On the flip side, Monoloc exercises an equal and proportional restraint in his take on things. Like a voice emerging from a faded dream, the melody peeks out behind a curtain of reverb and industrial drums compellingly foreshadowing its full potential. Growing from there, the atmosphere slowly engulfs the listener until finally the slow build up reaches its full force providing a fantastic re-imagining of the original with an almost romantic yet no less powerful conclusion.

After hearing this release, one could ask himself why Petar Dundov and Gregor Tresher never did something together before? Their sound seems to fit amazingly well together.
