With Guy J’s eagerly anticipated third artist album drawing ever closer on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records, the first offering is delivered in the form of three intricately crafted productions titled ‘Nirvana’.

Forever drawing influence from contrasting styles, genres and concepts, Guy J has become synonymous with creating innovative and out of the box productions such as ‘1000 Words’ which received an array of solid reviews from leading publications within the music industry. Adhering to exactly that fashion, Nirvana embraces his eclectic and much envied ability of being able to produce a varying catalogue of tracks of the highest stature.

Traversing through fluttering synth arrangements and atmospheric basslines, the opening production ‘8 Minute Flight’ is the superb beginning for what is set to be another profound chapter in the story of Guy J. A pivotal element of John Digweed’s Bedrock imprint, his forthcoming album is a showcase of all his favored diverse sounds compiled into a two CD’s of the highest caliber.

Never being content with constructing a linear style of productions, ‘Nirvana’s’ euphoric sounding riffs and elegantly composed percussion display Guy J’s versatility as an electronic artist, where as ‘Provokoter’s’ distorted rhythmic composition creates a darkened tone for all those listening.

Carrying a wealth of experience on his shoulders, coupled with being supported by the underground music’s most profound names, ‘Nirvana’ is a sublime insight to the forthcoming album. Intricately weaving through each track creating an astonishing listening experience like no other, this EP will once again ignite excitement in the global music community that Guy J’s most ground breaking project to date is nearly upon us.

The boss is back home! And as you'd expect from Hernan, its jam packed full of goodness. This collection of gems are all new versions of tracks that were used and made for Hernan's Balance CD, all freshly updated for you lovely Sudbeat fans.

So lets get to it, and we kick of with James Teej superb rework of 'Into The Edge' from Hernan & Soundexile. James has recently been in the studio with Timo Mass to remix Paul McCartney. We'll let that sink in a minute while you realise how big a deal that is...! James remix has Big bass, emotive chords and tinkling melodies that combine beautifully here creating rather large rework of epic proportions, with a tad of melancholy thrown in for good measure.

Rising start Khen takes controls next, and with his recent works on Plattenbank, microCastle and Lost & Found, its no wonder this likeable chap is causing a bit of a fuss. This intense melodic gem subtly grabs your attention along its mesmerising voyage before its devastatingly cool key changes raise the temperature even hotter on this damn fine remix.

Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile - Lunar (Simon Vuarambon Interpretation) is our next port of call. Simon is a Sudbeat favourite and makes a welcome return working his magic on Lunar. This rework is a sophisticated del journey that undulates and teases, with alight eastern vibe, this musical workout is a lesson in restraint in the studio.

And another Sudbeat favourite, Mike Griego remixes Hernan Cattaneo & Guy Mantzur - Imaginarium, and takes this in to a hypnotic territory, that locks you in to its magical spell, encapsulating your mind, while its tension builds and the track develops beautifully. A solid dance floor workout rounds of this package superbly.

Now a staple in the imprints discography the collection's feature a wide assortment of talent from fresh and unknown to some of the tried and tested names in progressive house. The collection begins with the deep, techno inspired piece 'Ma Di Tau' from Greek artist Nick Varon. The Hernan Cattaneo favourite dazzles with tough beats, chunky grooves and an astral ambience that becomes irresistible hypnotic over the seven minute journey. Next up Ewan Rill and Loveski continue on a funky, dance floor minded plane with 'Illuminao'. Mystical atmospheres, indistinct vocal gates and a romping groove set the piece in motion before a lovely melodic apex ensues. The collection's third selection finds Hans Seance returning to the label with 'The Purge'. The Indian artist has delivered a deep, pulsating progressive cut with delicate arps and distinctive stabs. Smooth chord changes during the main break shift the narrative from meditative to emotive before the kick drops for a smooth finale.

At the halfway point we have Federico Monachesi making his Movement Recordings debut. The Argentinean artist presents his latest studio creation 'Chrysocolla' which shifts the collection closer to peak time territory with its driving groove, firing percussion and wavering, atmospheric resonance. Next up is one half of the Some Little Things duo Leandro Moyano, who presents the latest from his new After Burn moniker. 'Night Dance' proves to be a standout with its organic percussion, dusty motifs and soulful melodies. Definitely one for a summer day time event. The release concludes with Movement Recordings artist Stergios Sigma returning for his fourth appearance following a contribution to the label's 'Technical Progress' Vol. 7 compilation. The Greek artist's latest studio creation 'Flavours of Death' comes in dark and haunting with a real nose for the dance floor. Dramatic and daring, it's an eight minute journey through brooding tones, ghostly vocals and spine tingling arps. No doubt the best production of Stergios' career and thus a perfect way to cap off another excellent exclusives collection from Movement Recordings.

Barcelona based, Venezuelan duo, Fur Coat return to Sasha's Last Night On Earth imprint with the imperious 'Babel' EP. Three original cuts, plus a remix feature from the in-demand Italian duo Hunter/Game.

Kicking off the EP is the title track 'Babel', a stripped back, melodic club heater, tinged with hypnotic, cosmic synth transmissions. Up next, 'Technical Maneuvers' is a bold yet refined cut which is neatly contrasted with dramatic synth blasts.
