Discovering Dubstep / 140 mainly through Dub and Reggae, a love for sound systems and just being in the dance, Dub Athlete started mixing a couple of years ago, starting out on vinyl and sticking with it. Going full force in this guest mix for Sudo, this Brighton selector brings a selection of old school classics and fresh pressed tunes that embrace the Dub influenced side of 140, alongside the more experimental and industrial beats.

Since their inception in October 2014, the pair have enjoyed a host of digital and vinyl releases, with positive reviews from the likes of https://soundcloud.com/mixmag-1, https://soundcloud.com/trusik and https://soundcloud.com/duploc, alongside completing a round of European festivals and a debut US tour in 2017. Bassweight is the name of the game with these guys. Having always been around electronic music, (be it his older cousins in the 90's / or later his friends in and around 2005-2006) Kemist has an ear, and collection that leaves room for all styles.

A top advocate of the Dubstep and Grime culture since late 2007, there is not much that slips under his radar in the scene. Furthering his footprint in the vinyl community, Kemist has now ventured out on a vinyl only label (Vinyl Vigilance) Boasting artists such as Kromestar, K Man, Cluekid, RDG, Nova & Repulsion, Krytikal & L Nix.

From his solid connections to the 40Hz Soundsystem (Toronto) down to the TsunamiBass Experience (New York) stretching out and over to the UK friends. There is a chance you've seen him posting about vinyl releases or you just know him from the Vinyl Vigilance Facebook community.

Playing along side the likes of Hatcha / Kahn / K Man / RDG / Cluekid & Joe Nice. Kemist is always prepared to fling knowledge through sound.

Very excited to welcome SUB.FM regular CHUG to the SUDO SELECTS mix series. Huge huge mix from this DJ and Producer, expect to see more of Chug on the label through the rest of the year... 

In 2010 https://soundcloud.com/chuguk heard the unique sub driven vibes of what we know as Dubstep. Instantly hooked he delved into exploring the London scene, with the itch to start mixing and producing, he got some decks and copy of FL 10 and was underway. He joined Sub Fm in 2012 and his love for playing this exciting ever changing sound has never stopped. Hosting raves and parties through the years and continuing to make a mixture of Dubstep, Dub and anything bass related, he has now found his home at Sudo Sound.
