Spooky Wooky return for their third release on the imprint, and once again staying true to their sound, the record includes R.E.S.S and label co-boss Lazer Man who split the EP with two tracks each.

‘The Horror Show’ by Lazer Man is a perfectly eerie track, creating an atmosphere of unease right from the get go. Starting out with an ominous chime of a distant bell, it immediately catches your attention. It then seamlessly glides through bass and catchy synth melodies, creating an ever flowing but tight groove. And the creepy vocal throughout is right up our alley, adding the cherry on top of this track.

Next up we have a returning artist to the page, Tunisian DJ and producer YFGD aka Your Favorite Ghetto Dealer. No stranger to Sugar ‘n’ Spice, he has featured multiple times on the account with no signs of slowing down. Today we feature a track from YFGD’s new EP ‘Tapes’, the first in his self released Bandcamp series.

‘TAKE CONTROL’ has a crunchy, growling bass really setting the dark tone of the track from the beginning. The call and response between vocal and bass keeps you hooked, as you truly ‘let the music take control’. The weird and trippy samples from old tv and radio shows really adds to the feeling and gives a whole nother layer to the interest of the song. A lovely groove from start to finish.
