Today, we're proud to present you an incredible double single by the young master Telemakus, functioning as a tribute to his musical heros and a preview of his forthcoming album! Ode to Devonne / 3AM showcases the many influences in Telemakus's sound, including none other than the great DJ Harrison and the master Herbie Hancock. Through playful solos and dreamy, expansive chord changes, Telemakus brings the heat, enlisting help from Chino Corvalán on bass and David James on the drumkit, Together, they bring together a sound funkier than anything we've put out so far. We hope you enjoy these tracks, and can't wait to share more off Telemakus's masterful album, coming out soon.

“Lemons”, the new track by midnight alpha. and Nothingtosay, represents a lesson in simplicity. Originally the two producers went wild, adding guitars, saxophone and various melodies throughout. However, they found the track most effective when stripped back to just the basics, allowing a spotlight to focus on the main synths and piano, then using the added melodic instruments sparsely to accentuate the beat, resulting in a smooth, jazzy and uplifting track. The duo was inspired by new jazz acts like Kiefer, Moods, quickly quickly, l'indécis, and more. They sent the track back and forth, adding new ideas and building until the track was in its finished form - smooth, relaxed and undeniably groovy.
