Chill Out Gardens  | Boom Festival 2016

So, here's my set from the Chillout Gardens at #Boomfestival 2016. So exciting to play there for the first time, a beautiful and crazy experience..!  This was a 12:00 - 14:00 set in the crazy sunshine (shaded..) for some context.. :) Also, in the interests of openness, this is a backup of my set, as I couldn't record the actual set, due to technical issues (and even had to rely on this backup at times). Still, it all come out OK and we shared a magical 2 hours....!! I hope you can find some of that magic here... X

It's too easy for an artist to overthink the release of new music, which often results in hoarding it from the world for far too long.  I find myself at a juncture in my personal life where i can no longer live as if there is any amount of time guaranteed in this body, where i can no longer afford to take things for granted or resist action for fear of the outcome.  We have this beautifully delicate opportunity to live, love, and express, and it is our duty to seek our potential through all of our connections, words, thoughts, and actions.  I am learning to release attachment, surrender expectation, and accept things as they are, and i'd like to reflect that through my music.  So with this offering, this music is no longer "mine" but belongs to anyone who may find it useful in aiding growth, joy, dance, introspection, flow, love-making, intra and interpersonal connection, and any other facet of your life.

Hey friends!

Stoked to present you with my set from Hyperbole/Octopus Garden on burn night this year. This mix is jam packed with unreleased tunes from my new 14-track full length album, The World That You Know, which is extremely close to fruition, and a couple remixes of a couple good dudes @Sixis-3 and @Bogtrotter. This is the legacy page for SuKhush (Altar Records) where we keep some of our favourite releases and sets from over the years. Everything from studio recordings to Fusion Festival (Germany), Ozora Festival (Hungary), MoDem Festival (Croatia), Eclipse Festival (Canada) … Goa gigs… NYC parties …… here are some of our favourites :-) 

SuKhush featured Rachel's live improvisation on the C Flute interwoven with Vishal's DJ/RMX sets. SuKhush spanned downtempo (psychill / bass / dub / psystep) to dancefloor (darkprog / chillgressive ) beats. We took a lot of pride in always keeping it fresh! No 2 sets were the same, even on tour.
