Music about Music!

An issue which constantly occupies my mind is: What is a musical experience? In where lies the essence of a sound, as to become a tool for the captivation of human emotion?

	Working with a Sampler is basically recording any sound from any source that I come across. Sampling mostly Vinyl-segments or recording "Open Air" acoustic ambience.

	Sometimes finding myself creating a potentially challenging & disturbing sound, setting a stage for exploring challenging soundscape possibilities for a mind-twisting & captivating sound tool. Then I enjoy the process of where I slowly let the sound grow on me, to the point where all my old preferences & perceptions are gradually being realigned or re-twisted. Driven by a morbid curiosity of challenging my perception of what I might want to "make work" in a process of creation. This creative freedom implies a certain existential responsibility for me, as to what I might choose to indulge.

	The "sampling concept" has to me been an excellent tool for the broadening of my music experience. I like to call myself a Post Modern "Sound Pirate".
Stealing or recycling any sound I come across & creating new experiences of old memories, times & places". This is my vision! Totally freeing my creativity from the harsh reality of the "Grand Theft Sound" being  in progress. In one sense, it´s a Music license Nightmare, but on the other a hand the results are timeless & classic.

DJ ZORRO - ONE FOR ZORRO is a DJ & producer & promoter of Shipwrecked, Snowbound & Happy Pills parties & a radio DJ on Beat 106 Scotland. Zorro was resident at Ministry of Sound, Heaven (London) & Pacha Ibiza & has hosted the Pussy Parlure at Glastonbury Festival & ran La Bomba parties at Ministry & Garage at Heaven. Eager to be able to create their works in a suitable location for their needs, Nello and Dave realize the Soundfactory Studio, designed not only as a production studio for its own sake, but also as a focal point for young (and old) who want look out to the disciplines of production and other activities’ related to it. Through the professional skills of the same, (which, for this purpose and for his personal training and dedicated to a thorough study of the technical process of evolution of the record production of recent years) the hotel offers activities’ specific learning on the “mix” techniques, “mastering”, “DJing” etc. The activity of study and’ also served to implement the exchange and cultural sharing of the territorial area of residence will also allow local producers and DJs to interact with each other in a more ‘profitable. Born 29 September '85 near Iasi ( Romania) 

Passionated by music at an early age, he began his career of DEEJAY at private parties. First live appearance was at age 16 (2001) in a local club for 7 months, then continued his passion for music at private parties organized by his friends, until 2004.

In 2005, due to material problems was forced to withdraw from the scene and until 2009 never had any live show.

In 2009, "VOODOO Games CLUB " gave him the opportunity to meet again the music at the level of DEEJAY and the old hobby has returned back in the spotlight. In the same year posted on SOUNDCLOUD.com the first mix recorded LIVE in "VOODOO Games CLUB " using a rather interesting program at that time "Atomix mp3" aka "Virtual DJ".

In 2010 he bought the first equipment "Console MK2 Hercules" (a console for beginners) and at the guidance of a good friend "Octav B." opened for the first time the software "Traktor PRO2"- was another perspective of a new beginning .

In 2011 he purchased a laptop and a console "Behringer BCD3000" (a console for occasions ). Being appreciated and encouraged by others , he began to create and post on the Internet more and more mixes, thus reaching at a large number of listeners. Besides SOUNDCLOUD.COM , he was released on 4clubbing.ro, on different radio stations, online, and not least in the spring of that year he broadcast for the first time in FM Live.
Since the beginning of his career, his inclination was to create music from 0 and now he is working at his first EP, which is worked in Ableton Live.
In 2012 he purchased two controllers "Kontrol X1 Tractor" and a laptop "VAIO". The following components of the dj / producer / mixing, will be:
AKAI mpk25, Akai mpd32, Traktor audio2, Macbook and very much free time :)).
Since 2011, at the advice of the playlist / manager Impact fm - "to be known mix and remix songs too" at a rate of 45% or 50% , the music presented on soundcloud.com will be made up of remixes of songs in vogue at that time. Presently, has two projects in progress since 2011, first is his own program on radio station Impact FM and the second the completetion of his first EP.
