           Comments: This song could not have been easier to write. It simply flowed out of my head, and landed perfectly on the written page. I suppose that it is the song that fits me to a tee, as my pockets are empty, but they are overflowing with blues music. I just love the irony in that title line.

           Comments: This one I wrote years and years ago, and almost instantly I lost the lyric sheet for it and had completely forgotten about recording a scratch copy of the song. I once recorded a solo track, [piano only] of this one, but at that time the lyrics were long lost and forgotten. Several times i thought about re-writing the lyrics, but for some reason, I just didn't. After about 20 or 25 years later, I began recording all of my reel-to-reel masters and cassette tapes to a computer to see if I could remix them close to a digital quality, and then I heard the scratch copy start. I actually jumped out of my seat when the vocal started, screaming "Yes, Yes, Yes..." because I knew then, that this was a copy of the "Original Lyrics". I could not have been happier, and now I make a scratch copy of everything, no matter who wrote it.

This is another work in proggy clip of a cover of the song "Mission" by Rush featuring Neil Peart Drums (by Sonic Reality) with me doing the keys (Dave 'Squids' Kerzner, your quirky Sound Cloud Sonic Elements host), Steven Robinson on guitar, Valerie Spinner on bass and John Beagley will be laying down vocals on this one. I've written and recorded a lot of good songs over the years but back then they were mastered onto cassettes or Reel-To-Reel. [I guess I'm "Old-School"...] So I'm going through all those tapes, and making New Digital-Masters out of them. I've found that you can never really get rid of that Tape Hiss Noise though... but I'm working on it anyway. I hope to take these tracks back to the studio some day.
Foremost, I must give a "HandsUp" to my good friend and Collaborator, 'David Cooper' Of Terre Haute, Indiana for a lot of the lyrics in these tracks. (Dave, I couldn't have done it without you.)

Jeff is a close friend, and High School buddy of mine and some of these tracks were recorded at The Recording Workshop at Chillicothe, Ohio, where he works. Jeff was kind enough to engineer them for me, and taught me a lot about audio-engineering. 
All the rest were recorded in "practice sessions" at Indiana State University, at Terre Haute, Indiana, in their Fine Arts Practice Rooms. (Yeah, I used to sneak in there with a duffel bag full of recording gear and camp out all night, just to record a few tracks.) [So Dedicated To The music...]
