In the vast expanse of the cosmos, Earth, a tiny blue planet on the outskirts of the Milky Way, lies silent, its cities in ruins, its people long gone. As a time traveller and musician, I am drawn to this world, to the echoes of a civilisation that reached for the stars but fell short, consumed by an ambition they could neither control nor fully understand.
Through my music, I seek to capture the essence of this lost era, particularly the turbulent times around 2070, when humanity's fate hung in the balance. Each song is a journey through time, a sonic exploration of the apocalyptic moments when everything changed, guided by the haunting melodies and atmospheric soundscapes that paint a vivid picture of a world on the brink of collapse.
As I wander through the abandoned streets and desolate landscapes, I find inspiration in the remnants of human culture - the unfinished symphonies in empty concert halls, the silence that hangs heavy in recording studios where hit songs were once crafted. The music becomes a conduit for the stories that linger in these spaces, tales of dreams pursued and hopes shattered.
In the rhythms of nature reclaiming the cities, I hear a powerful message - that all things must pass, that even the grandest of human achievements are impermanent. This truth resonates through my compositions, serving as a reminder of our own fragility and the need for humility in the face of the universe's vast mysteries.
Each track on this album is a warning, a cautionary tale wrapped in sound and emotion. They speak of the paths we may tread if we are not vigilant, the dreams that may crumble if we are not wise. Through music, I forge a connection that transcends time and space, inviting listeners to explore the echoes of a vanished world and heed the lessons hidden within.

The music shared on this space is of my creation from scratch.
It is written on sheet music and designed to be played live by small orchestral groups. Through these original creations, I always try to present a completed work. Via computer aided musical creation, I do my best to integrate the actual constraints of instrumentalists. Writing, mixing and mastering are done on Cubase-Pro.
I hope you will like it. As for me, I can assure you I really take great pleasure in this creation work.

La música que pongo a disposición para escuchar en este sitio está hecha por mí de principio a fin. Está escrito en partituras y diseñado para ser interpretado en vivo por pequeños grupos orquestales. A través de mis creaciones originales, siempre intento presentar un trabajo completo. En el ámbito de la MAO (Música Asistida por Ordenador), trato de integrar lo mejor posible las restricciones reales de los instrumentistas. Por otro lado, la composición, la mezcla y la masterización se realizan en Cubase-Pro.
Espero que mi música les guste. Por mi parte, puedo asegurarles que en su creación disfruto mucho.

A travers mes créations originales, j’essaie toujours de présenter un travail abouti.

I make noise. No matter what.
To complicate matters mentioned above, I make concept albums of mostly instrumental music. It is kind of stupid, if you think about it. Why? I tell you why. When I am working on these albums I imagine the person I am making the album for. I imagine the listener. I imagine someone sitting in their home or traveling on a bus. This person searches for my album on her or his favorite streaming service and plays it from beginning to end. That takes about 40 minutes of unbroken attention. But perhaps it is not even enough for the effect to fully take place. Maybe the listener (God bless her heart) has to repeat that whole process a couple of times before the THING starts taking shape for them - how the whole is different form the sum of its parts. Anyway, I work and I imagine the listener. My hero, my heroine.

So what is stupid about making concept albums? I think you can see where the story goes. What do you think, where are these listeners who take the time and listen and repeat the process of actively engaging? For an entire album of an obscure, unknown, unestablished bum kind of composer? Where are these people that I am working for relentlessly for decades? Probably nowhere. There are no such listeners. Put your hand to your heart and tell me, how often does it happen that you listen to a whole album? And I mean listen, not just let it roll and engage in other activities that require your attention to some degree. How often do you do that? The person I imagined, the person the whole work is dedicated to - may not even exist. 

And it does not hinder me much. I keep working on concept albums as if there were people who had the time and experience and interest and intention and stamina and whatever else does it take to listen that way.

There is nothing new in this for me. As of profession, I am a university professor and I write and publish scientific papers about the psychology of action, perception and cognition. I have to tell you, that is also a lot of work for an extremely narrow audience. In principle, there is nothing wrong with serving a very specific and narrow need, I guess. 

Also, the way I define art and science to myself includes that you do it, and just do it, irrespective of reward, affirmation and you do it without even looking at the demand landscape. Why? Precisely because the expectation of being rewarded and adjusting your work to demands is a recipe for not finding anything interesting, anything new. Serve demands - make no discoveries. And that is basically why I am doing this relentlessly. I work, finish and publish my things. Into the dark. Hoping that they will find you. And that's where it begins.
