SICK INDIVIDUALS are known for electrifying main stages around the globe with their progressive house and electro anthems. They have consistently demonstrated an affinity for stringing together uplifting melodies, followed by big emotional drops. After multiple releases with labels like Revealed, Axone, Spinnin' and Armada, SICK INDIVIDUALS are now turning their songwriting skills up a notch, and testing deeper waters in the melodic house territory with their new single, “People I Love”, their first single for Thrive Music.

Taking a more minimalistic approach, the Dutch duo concoct a highly emotional combination of jubilant melodies, led by British singer/songwriter Stevie Appleton, whose contrasting dynamic elevates “People I Love” into the radio-ready level. 

The club mix that accompanies the original aims at not leaving out the DJ support SICK INDIVIDUALS have always enjoyed. It is what we have come to expect from this duo, combining melodic synths and rousing vocals, with an uplifting progressive drop.

Australian producer South Pole brings us an exceptional body of work here in the form of the Keep Your Heart LP.

Starting off with the epic, soundtrack-inspired title track 'Keep Your Heart' which exudes honest emotion and power with crashing drums and dramatic orchestral strings, things are quickly set in to dance music fashion with the laid back 4x4 beats of 'Beneath Our Starlit Sky' and the chirpy, funky sounds of 'Till The Dawn'. 'Meteora' takes things back down with smooth, airy vocal parts and silky, chorded synths and with extra attention to detail on dynamic percussion, 'Cloudburst' shows Sam's ability to craft constantly-enveloping, soundscapy progressive. Hitting a mid-way point in a sophisticated fashion is 'Holding You' which features cool, twangy picked guitar melodies and warm synth motifs. 'No One But You' is sharp and tightly-produced with echoing vocal cries that provide the outer coating for euphoric guitar lines and tantalising, balearic-style plucked melodies. Raising the tempo once more is 'One Last Glimpse' which plays on melancholic melodic themes and blows them up in to epic proportions with wide, reverberant musical layers and chunky, driving drums. Further utilising acoustic instruments amongst traditionally electronic elements in 'Shine', a blissfully positive atmosphere is created with a great "hands in the air" main section. Rounding off this unique artist's stunning LP is the closing track 'Ascension' which tugs on bittersweet emotions with captivating "wah wah" guitar parts and thick chords along with punchy drums and interesting arpeggios and electro-style wobbly FX.
 
The sunshine-ridden melodies of South Pole's 'Keep Your Heart LP' will no doubt be a winner amongst fans of summer-sounding progressive and colourfully-arranged dance music.

We are as thrilled as ever to bring on new artist to our roster, that feel their music should be taken on to the back catalog of Progressive House Worldwide and today we are able to unleash another melody driven progressive release. This time we are pleased to let Yasuha. loose on the label, as he unarguably is one of the more interesting producers on the scene with his amazing soundscapes. 

He delivers in full flare, taking us on majestic journeys with his double original release. First out is “Morning Glory”, a wonderful ride about melodic arrangements and full on progressive grooves and harmonies. 

To spice things up, we see two of our buddies from Norway taking charge as Ethillas & Nistad took on the challenge to put more drive into the original ideas from Yasuha. We can’t say less than that they have succeeded. With an energy filled little gem from these two truly talented artists, we see a new outcome of the original, including warm harmonies through vocal samples added on and then some really uplifting melodic sounds. We are truly happy to see the guys back that quick with this beauty. 

Next up is the second original from Yasuha., this one named as “Morning Glory”. Here he delivers in full flare once more, as we are delighted to see him bring on the full artillery of melodic vibes and “sunny beaches feel”. We were absolutely blown away when we first heard it and never looked back really, this is tremendous. 

Here we also see another interpretation, as the Brazilian “man of melodies” takes charge, yes we are of course talking about Rod Veldt. As always he shines with his superb melodic style, where he blends warm harmonies with driving grooves to build his trademark sound. There isn’t much more to say, than that we let the music talk for itself, sometimes that’s the only way to go, and we do feel this is one release that is like that.
