On a beautiful May 4th evening the "Raize the Hoof" Tour arrived in Victoria with Lynx, Buckman Coe - and the ever-inspiring (and equally ridiculous) The Tailor!  Joining forces to raise funds & awareness for the White Crow Farm Project, these generous and committed musicians packed the dance floor for a long night of bliss. The first thing you notice in the Tailor's music is the texture. 
It is Sensual, wound with found sounds swept from dusty floors of the world. Wrapped in ribbon and whisper, holler and moan, it borrows from the blues, and travels through the desert, with a bass banjo and beatbox broken in just the right way.

His legendary Live performances have been delighting, confounding and seducing audiences across the West Coast for more years than he would care to admit. Highlights include residency at Shambhalah Living Stage for the last ten years, an opening slot for a Beats Antique tour, and playing the Fusion festival in Berlin.

This year will be his busiest Touring schedule to date, and two Ep releases planned, and travel up and down the west coast and europe. His music has been featured on many soundtracks, including the short film Bury him in the Desert, the cooking show the Perennial plate, a crazy swedish fishing documentary, and a number of racy love scenes. of course. 

His last album " The Salt " is an ocean faery tale, about a man who leaves to cross the sea and begin a new life for his family, but goes down in a storm, and can only return after a long dance with the siren queen. It blends elements of Balkan Beat, Orchestral Folk, and Ambient Sounds into dark blue sea of an album.
