Jourdan Bordes: A Life in Music and Adventure
Falling in Love with the Beat
In 1997, a young Jourdan Bordes fell in love with the magic of raves and dance music in New Orleans. The infamous Disco Donnie's legendary events introduced him to the euphoric energy and transformative power of electronic music. Those nights under pulsating lights and thundering basslines lit a fire in Jourdan’s soul, sparking a lifelong passion that would define his journey.

The Journey Begins
At the age of 21, in 2003, Jourdan set off on an extraordinary adventure, moving from his roots in the United States to the United Kingdom. His journey as a DJ began in earnest with residencies in Bristol and Swansea, Wales, where he immersed himself in the vibrant European electronic music scene.

After honing his craft overseas, Jourdan returned to the United States. However, his homecoming coincided with Hurricane Katrina, which devastated New Orleans and left Jourdan a refugee. This life-altering event brought him to Los Angeles, where fortune smiled upon him. He landed a job with his idol, the legendary Paul Oakenfold—a pivotal moment that ignited his career in the global music industry.

Touring with Samantha James: A Global Success
From 2007 to 2009, Jourdan toured with Samantha James for her hit album Rise, a journey that took them to Hong Kong, Tokyo, Manila, Taipei, Thailand, Australia, Bulgaria, and Mexico. The duo performed everywhere from the iconic Burning Man festival to beach festivals in Mexico, captivating audiences worldwide. Their collaboration was a global sensation, marking a peak in Jourdan's career.

New Adventures and Residencies
After the Rise tour ended in 2009, Jourdan moved to Austin, Texas, where he worked with Famosa Productions, holding various residencies from 2009 to 2011. Seeking new horizons, he relocated to Australia, where his talent earned him gigs at the legendary Home Nightclub in Sydney.

In Sydney, Jourdan secured residencies at Cargo Bar and other prominent venues, making a name for himself in Australia’s thriving electronic music scene. It was during this time that Jourdan was invited to perform on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand.

The Koh Phangan Era: A Decade at Jungle Experience
Jourdan’s first gig in Koh Phangan blossomed into a 10-year residency at the renowned Jungle Experience Festival. During his time on the island, Jourdan formed a lasting friendship and collaboration with dance music legend Graham Gold. The duo worked together both in the studio and behind the decks, creating unforgettable music and sharing residencies at various venues over the years.

The Rise of a Producer
In 2012, Jourdan’s remix collaboration with Darren Epsilon caught the attention of Beatport, earning him recognition as one of the hottest up-and-coming producers. Over the years, his original productions have graced esteemed labels like Perfecto, Toolroom, Holystone Proton, Phonetic, Particles, Dynamica, and Black Hole Recordings.

Supported by industry titans such as Graham Gold, Orbital, Armin van Buuren, Faithless, Roger Sanchez, Joris Voorn, and Carl Cox, Jourdan’s tracks have made waves globally, charting over 20 times on Beatport’s Top 100 and earning airplay on major radio stations.

Ambassador for Music and Healing
As an ambassador for the David Lynch Music Foundation, Jourdan joins an elite roster that includes Moby, Maroon 5, and Iggy Pop. His work with the foundation is a testament to his belief in music’s transformative power to heal, inspire, and connect.

2025: Global Performances and New Horizons
In 2025, Jourdan is set to play globally at some of the best festivals and venues around the world. His schedule includes electrifying performances in Goa, India; Koh Phangan, Thailand; London; Wales; Sri Lanka; and many other destinations in between. This year promises to be a landmark chapter in his career, solidifying his position as a globally celebrated artist.

A Legacy in the Making
Now celebrating two decades as a professional DJ, Jourdan reflects on his journey with gratitude. From tearful epiphanies in New Orleans to chart-topping success and performances across the globe, his story is one of resilience, passion, and an unwavering love for electronic music.

Having managed his bookings independently for the past 15 years, Jourdan is now seeking management and an agent to help propel his career to even greater heights.

Legend is truly a word many people use when they talk about Graham Gold. With a career spanning over 40 years, his passion for finding and playing great music and his ability to rock a crowd has not faltered. There at the absolute beginning of house music, he was one of the most influential and ground breaking DJ’s on London’s Kiss 100 radio station, where his award-winning Friday night Kiss programme was networked all over the UK. He spent 8 years in the DJ Magazine Top 100 with 2 years at 22 and 5 years in the top 40, when this poll actually meant something before social media hype and ‘purchased’ votes took over. 
His career has taken him to rocking the decks in some of the world’s best clubs and festivals (including Glastonbury, Ultra Music Festival, SummaDayze, Homelands, Impulse) in 170 cities in over 50 countries. He also presented the biggest and most underground clubbing TV show, BPM as well as presenting on MTV for at Miami’s Winter Music Conference. His many mix albums have sold almost 1,000,000 copies in total.
Playing over 300 events every year including weekly parties at all the holiday island destinations-Ibiza, Mallorca, Benidorm, Tenerife, Cyprus, Crete and more during the 16 week summer season, he was literally getting on a plane every Monday to Thursday and Burn Out kicked in around 2006. It was time to slow down and after securing monthly residencies in Bangkok and Pattaya, he moved to what is dubbed S.E.Asia’s Ibiza, Koh Phangan,Thailand in 2008
Fast forward to 2023, he still lives on KP,  playing parties regularly (including sunsets) and producing music which has found its way onto labels such as Wyldcard, Patent Skillz, Ballroom, Krafted Underground, Dynamica, Assymetric and Jeepers. Musically it’s hard to pigeonhole Graham’s music-it’s everything from deep house, deep tech, progressive and melodic house, progressive techno to tech house and techno- the club and the time slot dictate what journey he is going to take his audience on. It can all be heard in his weekly radio show, Esta La Musica which is syndicated to over 25 radio stations.  He returns annually to the UK and Ibiza for the summer festival season.
Like so many others, his career started as a soul music DJ, which led to a 10-year residency from 1980-1990 at Gullivers in Mayfair, frequented by such luminaries as Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Mike Tyson, Jimmy Cliff, Maze, Earth Wind & Fire-the list is totally endless-if you were a major player in black music or sport in the 80’s you would have been at Gullivers! In this time, he also presented one of the two soul shows on London’s Capital FM, which won him the specialist Broadcaster Of The Year in the then music bible, Music Week. He also shared the decks weekly as far back as 1983 with Carl Cox in a dodgy little club in Brixton!
