Winston-Salem artist, Hime Vaughn, fuses pop and alternative influences over trap beats to create fun and bubbly rap songs. Hime grew up playing church hymns on the piano. As a teen, her older brother introduced her to southern trap mixtapes on burnt CDs and taught her how to record music. Now, she makes vibrant and energetic songs that combine her childhood love for pop and alternative music with her teen interests in rap and southern trap music. 

Vaughn’s debut single, Another Round, is a bubblegum trap tune dedicated to turning up and getting throwed with the girls. The uptempo dance single was featured in Candid Culture Arts, a Durham-based music and culture blog. It is out now and has been streamed in multiple countries since its May 2023 release.
