Bwana is a name you may not have heard from in a while. Well, the reasons for that are apparent now: in spite of a strong start, he didn’t want to get swept away as the digital tide went out. Having secured a coveted release on Will Saul’s Aus - not to mention mastering by Gingy, and backed with a Simian Mobile Disco remix on the flip - the man is evidently making good on lost time with “Flute Dreams”.

If that title raises an immediate red flag, fear not. The track does well to repair the (justifiably) wretched reputation that flautists have accrued from their “contributions” to prog rock and Goa trance. Gliding across a galloping beat and a deep bassline stretched repeatedly to disintegration, the flute in question sits cosily, tag-teaming any synth line for a melody that’s tonally richer and a little more distinctive. Odds on you’ll find yourself whistling this in no time.

The Jerome Hill remix of Marshall Jeffersons's Trax classic 'Lost In The Groove' is a complete re-interpretation, solid jacking (hard) house music using just the original vocal that appeared on the 'One Night in 88' double CD (2014). Now with all licensing and red tape cleared away, it's set for release early in March 2015.
Dancer 'Boom Boom' is actually a collaboration between Acid legend Adonis and Sidney Winters, with a mix down by House legend Frankie Knuckles. 
This sat on the B side of 'Am A Dog' on Trax Records and is RARE & OBSCURE to say the least, but once the needle touches the groove you know it's a KILLER. Massive kick drums and mysterious organ scales, this one is a mad mad tune ! Produced in 1987  (and sounding like nothing else from that year) it's been given a very slight and very respectful re-arrangement by Jerome Hill, remastered and cut super loud and clear.

I have been thinking about it a lot and I have decided that DUFFDISCO007 is the last bootleg I am going to press to wax. It's been fun and I hope you all enjoyed them but I think it's the right time to stop. (you can order the last in the series here - http://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/450211-01.htm)

I do however want to continue re-imagining songs and giving my interpretation of them for you to play and listen to and so i'll be giving the reworks away for free. I have set up a donations page if anyone wanted to help with covering the costs of mastering future tracks as i'd still want the best sound possible as I can't afford to be paying for it all myself.

At the crossroads of their interstellar travels, JaZzFx revisits the cosmic material of Ian O'Donovan. Bassoon basslines, deep space chords, hypnotic dub delays, asynchronous patterns and polyrhythms are the ingredients for these new JaZzFx explorations. The 'deep space dub' version of 'Cosmic Alignment' is build around an elliptical arrangement where new synth modulations express the original chords in another space dimension. JaZzFx has traveled time and space in his AstroFlower to make these remixes. His first destination was the future (3069) on the Deeptronica.Comsotech.P2X539 planet. He came back to earth in 1993 for the other remix with tools and sounds from the present time. Indeed, his '93 smiles' remix of 'Descent To Endor' can be heard as a special tribute to the positive energy of the 90's. This remix can be also extrapolated as a transposition of his past emotions to his present music developments. At last, the original version of 'Cosmic Alignment' is an harmonic tech-house track built on a sinusoidal structure where the astro synth modulations are undulating on chord sequences to create the necessary impulsions to take a turn on the cosmic dancefloors.
