Welcome to the 3rd and final release from the Roz Ryan studio reel discovery from 1980.  Produced by the mighty Mike Theodore and Dennis Coffey their production skills and arrangements never fail to delivery, and they always throw in a breakdown to keep it funky. Roz Ryan is a household name within the u.s and had some great success in the uk with her hit on Mirage records entitled "Boy where have you been".On the A side we have another killer 2 step song called 'Love Changes" which was also covered by O.C Smith.  The sultry silky of vocals from Ms Ryan never fail to disappoint. Flip it over for "Funky Way To Treat Me". A Theo Coff production that has all those funky disco elemenent's associated with the duo's output  of the late 70's.

Special shout out to former PLATYPUS members Dana Meyers Vocals/Autoharp), since those days, Solar Records, Songwriter, Producer for The Whispers, Shalamar and The Spinners, Floyd “Spoon” Weatherspoon (Vocals), since those days performing with “The Motown Sounds Of TOUCH” and Larry Hines (Lead and Rhythm Guitar extraordinaire) Deceased.

PLATYPUS RELEASED 2 albums for Casablanca Records – “Platypus” (1979) and “Cherry” (1980) and recorded more wonderful unreleased music. Dan Shake, Kaidi Tatham, Jamie 3:26 on Toy Tonics! Yes. Toy Tonics lead artist Cody Currie released his debut album on the Berlin label last year and now here come the remixes! Pure dancefloor joy is guaranteed with this release. The names speak for themselves. And they really made effective DJ weapons out of Cody's very organic sounding, warm, soul-driven jazzy house songs. 

Cody by now doesn't need a big introduction anymore. He is one of the „hot“ names from London’s new house scene (even if he lives in Berlin) and being the only one who has made a collabo with Eliza Rose created a certain buzz not just in UK. (they recorded the tracks Danger, Moves, Night Sky released on Cody's debut album Lucas).

Since the album release Cody is playing worldwide solo shows but also along with DJs such as Honey Dijon, Parcels or Myd from Ed Banger.

With Dan Shake, Jamie 3:26, Sam Ruffillo and Kapote, some of the hottest names of the scene join Kaidi to rework Cody’s organic, warm sound into dance floor weapons! 
Since the album release Cody is playing worldwide solo shows but also along with DJs such as Honey Dijon, Parcels or Myd from Ed Banger.

On the flip, Detroit native @petercroce, fresh from the huge success of his Razor-N-Tape EP, comes in equally strong, with the gospel-fuelled disco cut 'Just Like Heaven'. The track builds patiently, lingering on a raw disco groove, honing in on a powerful brass section and spirit-lifting vocals, and eventually climaxing with epic strings and thunderous piano.
