It's the inside that counts,

we all know that. So when MA1 sent us his musical self description 'Inside Me' we fell in love without even meeting him person. Well, to be honest, listing to his show on London's one and only  Rinse.FM for some time, to his DJ-sets filled with powerful warm bass and infectious grooves, it would have shattered our trust in Intelligent Design if his productions were shit.

Roska (Kicks And Snares) MA1's partner in crime at Rinse breaks some bones here and cooks up a tasty soup of all ingredients 'Inside Me'. Caution: some funky kicks and snares flying over your head.

'Bridge The Gap' of Techno, House, UK Funky and Bass. This bridge leads directly to the dancefloor. A never-ending bassline love story so sunny and fresh, so mean and merciless. It's true, it's already in your set!

It’s the pre-squeeze leading up to the big release. Mobilee presents this double-track treat on both vinyl and digital. 

The A-side tears it up with „Hartwood“, Rodriguez Jr.’s biggest hit to date. With a series of alternating and repetitive keyboard strokes and soulful lyrics bouncing on a thick velvet cushion of rich background base, this number is guaranteed to appeal to the industry’s most respected players. Fresh from the release of the deep acid-tinged ‘Clear Vision’ on Noir Music’s latest ‘Second Chances & New Romances 6.0’ compilation, revered Italian duo Supernova are making a long-overdue return to their own Lapsus Music imprint with a new two track EP. Having built the label’s roster into one of house music’s strongest units, the label heads are returning to the frontline with the ‘Acidays’ EP. 

First up, the title track ‘Acidays’ kicks things off with a jackin’ rhythm and low-slung bassline groove, letting the lead acid synth line dictate the track’s progression as it snakes through the sparse 909 drum snap. This motif is continued as ‘A-cieed’ travels further down the rabbit hole. Keeping things moving with scattershot snares and crisp open hi-hats, the track builds in urgency around the evolving acid riff at its core.

On Traxsource, the EP will lead with another original production, ‘Something’. Here Supernova rework the acid flavour that runs through the other tracks, offering the same low end bump but with a timeless melodic stroke.

A natural progression from the focused sound evident on ‘Clear Vision’, ‘Acidays’ continues in the duo’s exploration of the possibilities of the iconic acid sound, blending it with the forward-thinking production style that has become synonymous with both Supernova and Lapsus Music. Making a triumphant return to their brainchild Lapsus Music, Supernova’s new EP proves itself to be well worth the wait. ‘Acidays’ is as effortlessly crafted and fresh as they come.
