After Theremynt's LP Space Control - a journey into electronic music offered by Jan Richard & Eva Peel, the trip goes on with this new Ep talking about Human and Robot love, one of Theremynt's favourite theme (Rachel Rosen- on the first album was inspired from Philip K.Dick "Do Androids dream of electric sheep aka Blade Runner).
After using English, and Italian, the duet has decided to come back to French to write an electronic pop song in their mother tongue. Tribute to 80's French pop - bands such as Elli & Jacno --this track is definitely what we call 'refrain' or 'ritornello', one of these little melodies supposed to be hummed in the bus or while walking in the streets. Three remixers have given their own re-interpretation of the track, a trippy and Kraftwerkian version by Duet Acid-Washed, an efficient clubby track by young producer Dombrance and a cinematic Chicagoan-house infuenced version by Mike Theis from Gyrls.
This ep is both for domestic use and dancefloor with a taste of sexy frenchness. Enjoy!

Après l'album Space Control où le duo Theremynt offrait un voyage dans l'espace électronique, le duo formé par Eva Peel et Jan Richard propose avec ce nouvel Ep "Robotique de l'Amour" une suite au voyage en revenant sur un de ces themes favoris, les sentiments entre humains et robot, déjà le theme de la chanson Rachel Rosen inspire du roman de Philipp K.Dick (Blade Runner). Après avoir utilisé l'anglais puis l'italien, le duo a decidé de revenir au français, leur langue maternelle pour une pop song en homage à la pop 80's façon Elli & Jacno. Ce track s'affirme comme une ritournelle de celle qu'on fredonne dans le bus ou quand on marche dans la rue. Les remixers ont donné chacun une interpretation très différente, lysergique et Kraftwerkienne pour Acid Washed, efficace et club pour Dombrance, cinématique et Chicagoane pour Gyrls. Ce maxi est du coup aussi bien destiné à une écoute domestique qu'au dancefloor.

We have the solution: episode 13 of the well-loved Munich Disco Tech series from Germany's Great Stuff Recordings. Make sure you're sitting comfortably and we can get stuck in..

Versatile French talent Jean Claude Ades delivers the summery Down Down; a slow-building, infectious cut that adheres to classic house music sensibilities. A simple piano chord pattern, hypnotic vocal samples, flecks of sun-kissed guitars and gentle organ stabs and some big builds; what else do you need in life?

Tom Wax gives us a tongue-in-cheek (or is that joint-in-mouth?) warning about the dangers of marijuana in his heads-down techno roller Keep Off The Grass, injecting some humour into a track that's otherwise pretty serious in its intentions to keep the dancefloor locked. Old skool flavour meets new school rhythm and bounce on this solid groove.

F. Sonik & Andrew Technique go for the peak-time flavour on the lively Unclear Speech - a track that it's pretty damn hard not to move to. We've just tried to resist, and it didn't work. Blame the skippy snare patterns, the warm undulating bass, and carnival-esque vocal blasts and drum fills. A lot of fun, with plenty of colour and vigour throughout.

Ron Costa's Pinkove manages to pull off that tricky manoeuvre of being both deep and energetic, achieving the former by way of muted Rhodes style chord stabs and seriously low-slung bass, and the latter by use of sassy shakers, rapid snare fills and unexpected stop-start edits. Perfect for when you need space to breathe in a rolling, uptempo set.

Per Hammar goes in a similar vein for Auto K, perhaps deeper still and with more of a techno slant to the proceedings – snappy old skool claps and snares chattering away under sub-aquatic Detroit-style chord stabs and an irresistibly chunky, plump bassline driving proceedings along. Simple, cool and succinct.

And for desert.. something sublimely chunky from Townston & Delgado in the form of Madness. This one's hard to pin down, but if you like manic, wiggling basslines, high-impact drums that punch you firmly in the sternum and tripped-out vocal treatments, we think you're going to like it. There's a lot of subtle little touches going on here, but the focal groove is never lost sight of.

After Silenzio and Robotique de l’Amour- in french, Vampiros Discos is Theremynt’s third Ep- an electronic journey in Portuguese-tribute to  Horror Brazilian Filmmaker  Ze do Caixao and all the vampires movies that have accompanied us as teenagers such as Dracula and the Likes. Somewhere between dirty house, krautrock and deviant techno, it is an uplifting track made for the dancefloor . The three remixes are following the track’s original path pushing it to its edges: Andrew Claristidge from Acid Washed has given an interesting version both deviant and cinematographic, the Club Bizarre duet is offering a more techno version  with obsessive bells while legendary techno producer David Carretta is immerging us into a new beat and rather technoish hypnotic tune. The result is a perfect DJ tool -worth trying on the dance floor in the middle of the night.

The relentless Lapsus Music label keeps on serving up the goods. This time Pete Zorba is the man with the beats and his two originals get remixed by Supernova in fine style.

She Got Back is first and is a clattering tech cut with sharp hi hats cutting up the groove. The drums are punchy down low and all sorts of yelps and stabs bring the energy up top.

Light Room is next and is a darker, more driving cut with icy hi hats and spooky vocals. It's dancing music of the highest order that keeps you on your toes.

The remix from label boss men Supernova is a loopy, infectious affair with slivery drums and vocals that will amp any party. It rounds out another essential release of floor filing tech house.

Black Girl / White Girl continue to turn heads with their new EP on SOUP NYC, Pulse X. 

Turning the heads of Green Velvet, Jamie Jones, and Hector Couto, Black Girl / White Girl is one of the most hotly tipped DJ/production duos to come onto the scene. Their authentic sound successfully blurs the lines of tripped-out house and techno, an irresistible combo custom made for sending dance floors into a frenzy.

Previously releasing on storied imprints like Relief, Roush, and Resonance, here they make their SOUP NYC debut with Pulse X EP: three original cuts backed up with stellar remixes from Supernova and Joe Pompeo.

It’s the pre-squeeze leading up to the big release. Mobilee presents this double-track treat on both vinyl and digital. 

The A-side tears it up with „Hartwood“, Rodriguez Jr.’s biggest hit to date.
