It is a sound make-up that is positioned several steps above the music I make. He not only creates music from sounds, but also creates gradations of atmosphere and space. Wow.

A Friend recently hipped me to Peace Piece - an improv by Bill Evans.  Trying to attempt to fill Bill Evans' giant  footsteps with the feet of a toddler is a fool's road, at least in my estimation.  Why mess with perfection?  OTOH, when I started listening to his piece, it moved me to the extent that I shut it off at the beginning so I could try to figure out what I could do, using (to some degree) his repetitive left hand,  to  offer my own meditations on peace and beauty before I listened to his and started pilfering.  The world can use whatever droplets it of peace it can get right now and maybe this piece can bring solace, piece and beauty for just a few minutes. Now!  Not later!  
 
This is what came out of the maiden flight.  I decided to offer this version, unpracticed and unedited, trading intelligent approach for pure spontaneity and emo - I will continue to work with this going forward.  I hope it brings a few minutes of Peace and Beauty and Enjoyment to you.

The photo is of scenic Glendale Falls.  I haven't been there in a lo-o-ng time but my friend reminded me of it.  Mad props to whoever took the picture...it fits the bill perfectly!

I wanted to make something that reminded me about my trip to Koh Phangan in 1999. I went there with my best friend and it was the best 6 weeks of my life. My friend convinced me to go and I was a bit nervous about leaving university and just go like that. We scraped together as much money as we could and lived on parties, friendship and funky cigarettes. In honor of my best friend Bernt.

Hello :) :) :) 

Music is such a great thing. It gives me so much and is  a big part of my life. I love to dig around chasing those classic tunes that you find sometimes, I love to share music and I truly love making music. 

I started using FL Studio years ago and I just loved it - still do. I try to make some music or art every day. If you like that as an idea, and you like some of the things I do - great. That makes me happy.

In the 80's I became interested in club culture. As a teen I was involved in running a youth club and arranged monthly disco nights that ended with slow dances. After some years dancing at regular clubs I went on an adventure to a night I had been hearing about. A night for the weird people. This first night at a techno event I felt free, at home and I felt that I had found something I wanted to be part of for the rest of my life. 

After being stuck at home because of severe illness I found time and focus to start making my own music and art. In some ways my illness brought this gift as a side effect. If you struggle with illness I feel for you. That shit sucks. 

I believe in art, science, DIY and positivity. 

Music and art are my favorite puzzles :)
