👉 Celebrating the new Mha Iri remix this playlist brings together some of our favorite highlights from the JENS catalogue. 
JENS is the collaborative project of North German producers Jens Mahlstedt and Gerret Frerichs (also known for the project Humate), who left a lasting mark on international club culture with the release of “Loops & Tings” in 1993 on Superstition Records. The track first appeared on their debut “GLOMB EP” and quickly became a defining anthem of the early European trance and rave era.

The iconic Fruit Loops Remix gained widespread club and chart success in 1994 and saw renewed attention in 1998 with a re-release in the Netherlands, featuring fresh remixes by Bervoets & De Goeij (aka Rank 1).

While many versions have emerged over the years, the Fruit Loops Remix in particular remained a long-standing favorite in DJ record bags and compilation series throughout the 1990s. Later, it was reissued as part of the Superstition Classics series, remastered and recut for vinyl – a tribute to its originality and timeless club relevance.

Beyond “Loops & Tings,” the duo JENS released a number of other standout singles and EPs throughout the 1990s, blending elements of progressive trance, techno, and deep club aesthetics into a sound that remains influential to this day.

The MOB is back…

This time round we welcome Greek producer CJ Jeff with his percussion laden tech house production, “Huelas”. The rolling drums are casually interrupted by echoed vocal pumps that break up the track for that extra pulse on the dance floor.

Next up, Timo Garcia graces us with a new track for the MOB after his last release with us, “Atomic”, back in 2012. “Run For Cover” takes a deeper approach and squelches through to a huge filtered synth line that is sure to capture the attention of clubber’s worldwide 

Another new head to the Skint umbrella, Spanish mainstay Jorge Montia closes the EP with “The Family Tree”. The coupling of underlying piano patterns, latin influenced guitar riffs and brass lines rounds this off as a superb addition to the MOB.

Originally released back in ’95, ‘Octopus’ is one of Simon Berry’s strongest Art Of Trance releases to date. Later that year, it was remixed by R&S artist Capricorn (of 20Hz fame) and Man With No Name, so it seemed that after 20 years new remixes were surely justified.

Italy’s fast rising star Gai Barone has delivered quite possibly the finest remix he’s ever done with his Gallery Remix. Not only that, he decided to do a second remix for good measure.

Israel’s Yuli from Perfect Stranger serves up a very solid mix which stays closer to the original.

Frenchman, Rick Pier O’Neil returns with another sublime slice of sunrise.

Englishman, Matt Holliday offers a spacious and textured soundscape for his interpretation and is followed by a remastered version of the original.
