I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH.
After seeing Squeenix's 16 bit version of this fight, I was super disappointed that they mixed it with 8 bit music. I rectified that here :)

Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward: Dragonsong (Cover by Rika & Kyukiemusic)

Hi everyone!
Here's my first attempt in orchestrating final fantasy music so here is "The Mystic Forest"/"The Phantom Forest" from Final Fantasy VI(or III for the US) written by Nobuo Uematsu and rearranged by myself.
The idea behind this orchestral arrangement is to use what I've been studying these last few weeks about woodwinds and brass(which is a very interesting matter).
This is just a short snippet and I have to work a lot on the mix and the humanisation but the full track should be online in a few days(maybe a bit more as I can't work every day).

Hope you'll enjoy it!

It's been a while since I made a chiptune cover, so I covered one of my favorite tracks from Heavensward! The genre doesn't lend itself much to chiptune but I think it turned out nicely.
