One of the performances of the event KHMYZ created by the label I am part of, Rudiment . Together in collaboration with the collective Raw Industries we did an amazing event in one of the best locations in Berlin to do such an event.

Sonic Reverie: A Tale from the Enchanted North

A lone wanderer ventured into an enchanted forest in a land where the Northern Lights painted the sky with iridescent hues. The forest's ancient trees swayed to an ethereal rhythm while the snow beneath their feet echoed a distant beat.
Guided by the forest's whispers, the wanderer journeyed deep into the wilderness. As days turned into weeks, the seeker encountered a clearing where a single tree stood. Beneath it lay a pool of liquid ice, its surface resonating with a profound bass that seemed to emanate from the Earth itself.
The wanderer had found the source, a connection between nature and sound. They closed their eyes, merging with the forest's music, becoming one with the Earth's rhythm. At that moment, they discovered the profound relationship between art and the cosmos, a secret hidden in the heart of the mysterious land.

Bio/
Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his potent debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos' work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch, and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Off Records (Belgium).

PREMIERE: Orion - Twisted Together

The latest release, 'Dawn Drops' EP from Berlin-based imprint Jazz-o-Tech, comes as a collaboration between two Finnish artists Aki Himanen and Aleksi Kinnunen. Both Himanen and Kinnunen are jazz musicians and techno producers, so this project found a perfect home in Jazz-o-Tech. Jazz-o-Tech is a label that draws on the rich heritage of two of the most visionary and experimental genres in music: jazz and techno. Taking inspiration from the freeform creative nature of those two musical worlds, artists on the label mix tradition with modernity, improvisation with experimentation, and create a new sound known as techno-jazz.

Two originals on the release are accompanied by dark, driving remixes from PEG and Polygonia. Polygonia's remix of 'Dawn Drops' brings rumbling groove, haunting mysticism of elusive pads, and trippy floating trumpet, which create an incredibly calming atmosphere that will do wonders on dance floors during after hours.
