There was an old mellotron from the 1960s in this studio we were working from in Berlin, and one night I started working on this descending chord pattern, which then became Future Visions. After releasing three singles, the Canadian artist Layten Kramer finally reveals his EP ‘Eye to eye’. Nostalgic, playful and rock-oriented, this project will not leave anyone unmoved notably thanks to the use of numerous guitars, drums and a slightly reverberated voice that give an overall sentiment of psychedelia and nostalgia to whoever is listening to it. The eponymous track perfectly embodies that idea with playful, yet moving, lyrics incorporated into a whole ensemble of instruments.
