This is rather a story put in a song. 
The woman in the story is "Malinalli", "Malintzin" or "La Malinche", a probably Aztec woman born around 1505. 
She was the interpreter, slave and lover of Hernán Cortés, who conquererd Mexico in 1519. Without her, he would have never been able to put his plans into practice. She remains controversial in Mexican history to this day.
